I think there are more accidents not because cars are literally falling off the road, but due to reduced visibility and miscalculating increased stopping distances etc. Somewhat related a moment of wonder re: Weather/Climate. In a word... Energy.

I always forget to parry.

Cheeky in this instance implies a degree of surreptition. To be cheeky is to nudge the boundaries of what is acceptable. A "cheeky pint" is so named because you are sneaking the in the opportunity for a mild vice. Similarly a "cheeky nandos'" it's a bit naughty, but it's mostly harmless.

Think I might need to summon some help for the Shadow(s) of Mordor Yharnam. :/ Didn't even get close.

I hate when LBP does exactly this.

Cool.

What is?

I think it's *hope* more than *think*.

Yeah. I was being lazy at first because I was on my phone. Cool, thanks. I see, you can get to it As for the other thing...

A weird thing came up in conversation last night. Any government isn't actually all that bad for me. I'm fortunate enough to be on a decent income, high enough that I'm not reliant on state welfare, but low enough that mansion taxes etc don't have any effect on me. I'm in relatively good health and have medical cover through work, so while I am staunchly in favour of the NHS and consider it a legit wonder of the modern world, I'm not personally dependent on it. I walk to work so am not reliant on public transport, nor susceptible to car tax, fuel duty or any of the other costs of private or public transport. I'm white, middle class, straight and male so have the full package of standard privilege. Basically my life wouldn't be noticeably different if anyone from Cons to Lab to Lib to Green to UKIP were in power, I'd just keep ticking along minding my own business. I would love to know what % of the population that applies to and how many are in the 34% of people who didn't vote.
-
No way in hell are Tories opening that one up again. 1) It was a Lib Dem policy, they aren't going to admit that Clegg had a point. 2) When the people were given the choice it was a landslide vote in favour of "I would rather have a broken system that I am familiar with than read a three page booklet explaining the proposed new system." 3) If they start revisiting referendums after just 4 years, they will be staring down the barrel of another Scottish referendum before the next term.

Haha, no worries. You can get it from I *and* A, but you can find one lying around and another from beating a boss, so you only need one or the other from I and A. Since I gives a decent drop, I dies.

Yup. Even Wolverine agrees.

If we're going to debate the "quality" of an active user it gets really complicated. I don't really care if anyone thinks G+ is failed or not, I use it a fair bit. I think it's good for sharing chunkier content and isn't overrun with ads and crap that Facebook is rife with. The circles filtering of feeds is also extremely useful. The feed on Google feels well tailored to my interests, containing updates from android manufacturers, nasa, Formula 1, the oatmeal, a couple of celebs, game related stuff. In this aspect it apes Twitter, but the absence of retweet and fave mechanics means that you don't get as much of the chaff, spoof accounts, or comedy protest stuff like @WeWantPlates. The content feels more meaningful, more thoughtful, and less disposable.

Gotcha. Xmen incidentally is another good example the first few were meh. First Class and Future Past were much better. Star Wars is a very hit and miss franchise, but also easy to hype as it has so much iconic short hand. The screech of a tie fighter, the whommmm of a light saber, some blaster sounds and you're set.

Not as popular as Facebook != failed. Twitter has 302 million MAU.

Ok, so Batman Returns isn't too bad, but Revenge of the Sith is also not *that* bad. If we're talking about a great franchise with some lacklustre films, then a revival, Batman totally fits that mould. Star Trek is another good candidate for picking up an ailing franchise. If you are looking for a set of three ok films, followed by a set of three worse films then everyone being hyped for another three films, well, there aren't many franchises that release in trilogies and fewer still that have done it twice and even less that are on to their third trilogy. You may need to relax your parameters a bit.

Totally, no such thing as plot armour here. -
There were at least six bad FF movies in a row. What about batmans? Returns, Forever and & Robin were bobbins. Nolan trilogy was good if not great.

300 Million Monthly Active Users is pretty taken off imho.

Nolan's worst film is pretty decent. I really enjoy the prestige. *shrug*

While I think I may be in a minority here, I wish they would stop doing Stan Lee cameos.

Asymmetry? It's curved on both sides now. Perhaps they should name it "EdgeS"
