Yeah, the sparrows are mentioned a bit more in the lead up and the head of the church is (iirc) hated by the general populace for his opulent lifestyle. This leads Cersei to depose the high septon and put the high sparrow in his place (thinking that she is just swapping one toothless priest for another) the militarising is more of a big deal in the book as well. Edit: That applies to the book obviously. As soon as you see that the high sparrow is played by Jonathan Pryce, it kind of blows the gaff that he's going to be a major player and not some silent puppet who keeps out of the way. (Kind of like Barristan's appearance in Dany's storyline). Ramsay abusing Sansa annoyed me, as I thought she had turned a corner development wise and had become a player rather than a pawn. I *thought* she realised that the Boltons needed her and that she could use that against Ramsay, as a shield if nothing else. If she starts turning up places with missing teeth / fingers / covered in bruises, the North would soon overthrow the Boltons. In other news, was this the first episode in quite some time without a pointless nude scene? I don't recall any nudity... Might be just desensitised to it though... -

Agree about Bronn and Jaime. They are both in a good place with Jaime settled as head of the Kingsguard and Bronn with his new lordship and could be set aside for a bit (like with Bran). The sandsnake plot didn't need Jaime and Bronn. The attempt to kidnap the princess and it's being foiled works just as well without Jamie and Bronn turning up. I like the religious militia story line, though that may be because I have a bookish concept of the trajectory of that line. I'm loving Arya's story. Dany's is ok. Jorah and Tyrion's is a bit of a drag. -
He looks rather effeminate. <- Non judgement observation.

Just didn't feel like there was a "way" to do it. Took out the babies for stage one, so that I had a clear crack at the mother. For stage two/three (depending on whether I managed to skip stage two), just went hit and run. But it felt scrappy and unsatisfying. Unlike Logarius, who was tough, but with experience and parrying, there was a repeatable system to it. Rom far and away the "worst" boss in the game. Just feel like I got lucky with ice rain and spider jumps. *shrug*.

Die you cheap, mob spawning, one shotting, bastard. Mandatory cape flick.
-
Finally beat the spider bastard. Didn't call for help either. I didn't enjoy it though. Was just relieved I wouldn't have to fight him again. Amygdala is my next target I think.

Couple of vids of the weekend's achievements...

I severely underestimated Rom. May need a Summon. Ice rain is cheap as shit and nearly impossible to reliably dodge. :/ Martyr Logarius was a tough bastard. Solo'd him in the end.
-
Ahhhhhhhhhahahahaha! I beat the Shadow all on my own. Suuuuuch relief. Now facing Rom. Doesn't seem like it'll be as hard.

I think there are more accidents not because cars are literally falling off the road, but due to reduced visibility and miscalculating increased stopping distances etc. Somewhat related a moment of wonder re: Weather/Climate. In a word... Energy.

I always forget to parry.

Cheeky in this instance implies a degree of surreptition. To be cheeky is to nudge the boundaries of what is acceptable. A "cheeky pint" is so named because you are sneaking the in the opportunity for a mild vice. Similarly a "cheeky nandos'" it's a bit naughty, but it's mostly harmless.
-
Think I might need to summon some help for the Shadow(s) of Mordor Yharnam. :/ Didn't even get close.
-
I hate when LBP does exactly this.
-
Cool.

What is?

I think it's *hope* more than *think*.

Yeah. I was being lazy at first because I was on my phone. Cool, thanks. I see, you can get to it As for the other thing...

A weird thing came up in conversation last night. Any government isn't actually all that bad for me. I'm fortunate enough to be on a decent income, high enough that I'm not reliant on state welfare, but low enough that mansion taxes etc don't have any effect on me. I'm in relatively good health and have medical cover through work, so while I am staunchly in favour of the NHS and consider it a legit wonder of the modern world, I'm not personally dependent on it. I walk to work so am not reliant on public transport, nor susceptible to car tax, fuel duty or any of the other costs of private or public transport. I'm white, middle class, straight and male so have the full package of standard privilege. Basically my life wouldn't be noticeably different if anyone from Cons to Lab to Lib to Green to UKIP were in power, I'd just keep ticking along minding my own business. I would love to know what % of the population that applies to and how many are in the 34% of people who didn't vote.
-
No way in hell are Tories opening that one up again. 1) It was a Lib Dem policy, they aren't going to admit that Clegg had a point. 2) When the people were given the choice it was a landslide vote in favour of "I would rather have a broken system that I am familiar with than read a three page booklet explaining the proposed new system." 3) If they start revisiting referendums after just 4 years, they will be staring down the barrel of another Scottish referendum before the next term.
-
Haha, no worries. You can get it from I *and* A, but you can find one lying around and another from beating a boss, so you only need one or the other from I and A. Since I gives a decent drop, I dies.
