  1. Meh... I don't. People are trolls.
  2. Yeah, I think the grabby things are like: "Oh yeah, t-rex is a badass, but it has little arms." "T-rex with grabby arm things! Where is your 'god' now!?" Not sure where the cat with a bandanna comes in...
  3. Mine's all installed now. Feel a tad silly for not checking disk space in advance, but really their error messaging is atrocious.
  4. I love the subtlety with which "sacks and sacks and sacks of money" has been translated into "passion". http://www.examiner.com/article/square-ceo-on-rise-of-the-tomb-raider-xbox-one-exclusivity-microsoft-s-passion
  5. I had an error after downloading and during setup: "setup has failed to initialize the working directory". After some googling moved the downloaded folder to my other hard drive and it started to work. Then installation paused and it told me that I didn't have enough disk space. Cleared space and we're all installed. How the hell are you supposed to divine "Not enough disk space" from "setup has failed to initialize the working directory"?
  6. Played a few rounds last night, we were doing ok until we came across a team with a star player as well. Whoever MiniPanda10 is, after they beat us in the first game, I decided that wasn't going to happen again. I spent the rest of the game demolishing him. It works wonders. They are taken out of the game and even when they aren't being nudged or asploded they spend their time looking over their shoulders rather than focussing on the ball. After three more defeats to us the message "Please leave" popped up. As it was getting late, we complied with the request.
  7. If you ban superHEROES from carrying guns, then only the superVILLAINS will have guns. Blah blah NRA rhetoric blah. Agreed though. I think they were aiming for the "Hero that Gotham needs now" schtick but miscued slightly.
  8. Agreed. But then he is unpredictable... so can't criticise too much.
  9. You'll probably get a medal.
  10. Well I can't speak for everyone else on whether or not you speak for everyone else, and based on a sample size of "me" you do speak for everyone. That said. Yes, I think there is a probability approaching 0 that you speak for all of DC fandom.
  11. Agree with the sentiment completely. TKJ should be consigned to history, but I always get antsy about using "We" when "I" is more appropriate.
  12. Eventually you can unlock all in either grid. Standard Grid allows higher max lvls than Expert which is weird. However the way Luck works means that only HP ends up lacking a little.
  13. I hate that the expert grid has fewer nodes than the standard.
  14. Fair enough, but I lay the blame for that on MS for trying to deceive, inveigle and obfuscate, rather than on the journalists who were being non-committal in the face of a slippery statement.
  15. They've always been weasel worded about it. It's only clear if you are fluent in corporate double speak. "It's coming exclusively to Xbox One in Holiday 2015" can just as easily be interpreted as this is an exclusive game that will be released in November/December. Tomb Raider Xbox exclusivity deal "has a duration". "I don't know where else Tomb Raider goes," could be interpreted as Rise of the Tomb Raider is Xbone exclusive, future Tomb Raiders may not be. Whenever MS have been asked "Is it a timed exclusive?" the response has never been a direct "Yes" it's always been "All contracts have a duration" or "It's coming exclusively in Holiday 2015". Contrast with PS that have the pretty straight forward "Coming first to PS4" or "Coming exclusively to PS4". You know where you are there.
  16. I asploded someone so much last night that they signed off with "Victor is an ****". It was a great feeling.
  17. I've not seen many people quit midgame. It's annoying when they do as they tend to get replaced by the aforementioned vicious AI. I don't get the point of quitting mid game anyway. It's a 5 minute match. It'll take you the best part of 2-3 minutes to find a new game. So you save yourself about 2 minutes and you look like a cry-baby.
  18. You get 750 points for completing a game (vs 1000 for winning) so if you care about points, yeah there's a 750pt penalty.
  19. Sort of a Neil Degrasse Tyson, Bill Nye accessible science guy, we don't have a lot of exposure to those two on broadcast, but t'internet fills the gaps.
  20. Seems that the problem they have identified is that "customer cannot access our service to give us more money" rather than "customer wants control of his personal data back". They are fixing their problem, namely the broken revenue stream, and not your problem, stolen (or misplaced) information. Not entirely surprised to be honest.
  21. Beyond the fact that it is a shitty thing to say in general. As someone who does not live in the US, I know that "war heroes" are virtually deified, someone who grew up there must be aware that public sentiment to war vets is overall positive. If you're running for office you should at the very least have the common sense and self restraint to hide your disdain. It's not the nastiness of the comment that gets me, it's the incompetence that led him to air that opinion in public.
  22. A Dyson fan would be rubbish for vacuuming the house in fairness.
  23. You cannot buy a nice hoover vacuum cleaner for £200. http://www.dyson.co.uk/
  24. Not sure if Trump belongs in US Politics or Weird and Wonderful Web. The guy is a lunatic. I mean I don't really get why being a "war hero" is a good reason to elect someone to be in charge of a country, I think it's a rather American thing. But even *I* know that you don't take a pot shot at a guy who was a POW for being "not good at the war thing" while I was busy working my way up from Son of Millionaire" to "Millionaire". That's just silly. You might as well sit there and say "I think it's time we put this whole 'God' thing out with the tarot cards and horoscopes."
