  1. Is this in the wrong place? Or have I missed something?
  2. Yeah, hosting, distributing, money handling etc. definitely mean they should get a share. ~30% is the norm for digital distributors. Bethesda took an eye watering amount of the remainder, especially when you consider that they have already been paid for the base game. That said, publishers of base games do deserve a cut, since the mods are being sold off the back of their IP. With no Bethesda and no Skyrim, there would be no mod sales. However, that share should be small (~10% maybe 20% of net revenue imho) given that this is essentially free money. Essentially, for a £1 mod, I think the modder should walk away with at least 50p. The minimum threshold I'm also fine with. It's standard in distribution deals, otherwise your transaction fees and associated costs end up wiping out any profit.
  3. Hahaha. Wow. That is pretty damned mental.
  4. Beat first time. Burned about 15 bloodvials due to panicking and sloppy mistakes (it was half one in the morning) but otherwise, found it a bit... Easy. I think I've settled into the groove on this game.
  5. I am developing a bit of a specialist tea fetish... Is there a way to resize? Or will it happen automagically?
  6. I'm currently watching spoiler vids up to where I have played. (To make sure I haven't missed things). I am really, irrationally annoyed at the number of people who cannot pronounce "Gascoigne". Tell all whom you meet. It is "Gas" then "Coin". Gascoin, Gascoigne. Like a coin, made of gas. Gas. Flipping. Coin. Not Gas Cone, Gas Con, Gas Kony, Gas Kanye, or any of the other variations that I'm hearing.
  7. Day late, dollar short. I kid, I kid. Cheers Ethan. Luckily nothing spoiled for me.
  8. Yeah, I'm on track for her quest. As for the three special items... P.S. You didn't close your spoiler tags. OMG dramaaaaaagh!
  9. I wanted the prequels to focus more on the trade negotiations and eventual blockade of Naboo. What would the economic impact be on the average Naboonian? Would it push up the cost of groceries? If Naboo were to enter a recession, would it have lead to an end of the monarchy and the establishment of the Republic of Naboo so that more satisfactory taxation could be agreed with the Trade Federation? If so, would the removal of the monarchy, and the recent "troubles" with the Trade Federation lead to a reduction in tourism revenue thus worsening the economic crisis rather than alleviating it? Naboo looked to be a very wealthy planet, what was the source of that wealth? Was it some natural resource used for fuel or technology? Or are they a financial hub like London? The geo-political aspects of Naboo and their political/economic situation is way more interesting than some monks with laser swords and robots with remarkably flimsy joints.
  10. Yes! Ass-Bro-Hood "sic 'em" powers were great!
  11. I insist that I am referred to by my official rank of General British henceforth.
  12. I thought that as soon as I wrote it.
  13. Yeah, I thought Suicide Squad were going to be the baddies or something in the movie. Maybe Bat/Superman have a fight then resolve it to address Suicide Squad. Or beat Suicide Squad then fall out, or just introduce Suicide Squad in a credits sting. Or something. I had no idea that there were two Batman films incoming. Who is the Batman in SS?
  14. I was not. Obviously scheduled by that same guy that thought that releasing the Mad Max game the same day as MGSV:TPP was a brilliant idea.
  15. What has been seen... P.S. I pretty much just want to see this movie just so that I can watch "Super"man get his arse handed to him. I *hate* Superman.
  16. The gate thing might be what I was missing. Will try again this evening.
  17. Presumably she is still liable for State taxes though?
  18. Yes Dean. The Great Game Guarantee is a vital part of the Players First ethos. Visit Origin to find out more.
  19. From the FAQ: "Set your own price: As creator of your Workshop submission, you get to set the price. You can specify a set price or choose to sell as pay-what-you-want and let the customer decide how much to pay." From the T&Cs: "Setting Prices. The Publisher will have the ultimate discretion to determine the suggested retail price for your Contribution. In the case of Contributions distributed directly via the Steam Workshop, Valve and/or the Publisher may choose to offer you price categories from which you can choose a suggested retail price for your Contribution. In the case of in-Application distribution, the Valve and/or the Publisher may choose to distribute your Contribution for free, or to cease charging a fee for (or reduce the price for) a Contribution previously distributed for a fee. You will not be entitled to any compensation for Contributions distributed for free." That's not even a tiny bit contradictory. Oh no siree bob.
