  1. Totally agree pacing was off. It's supposed to be about 6 months between getting his arse handed to him and returning I think. Felt more like a week.
  2. To be fair, it was probably a good candidate for a two parter. Could have dumped Bruce in the gulag then come back six real months later, that way I would have actually noticed that some time was meant to have passed.
  3. I never put sugar in my coffee, even the epic Turkish stuff. My grandad's a Turk (along with half that side of the family) and he thinks I'm mad. I just love that bitter, take your face off taste. Drunk with some really dark chocolate to accompany it and it's perfect.
  4. That's the whole point of Blake's story arc. Everything he does as an officer of the law is a failure. He goes to interrogate Bane's henchmen and kills them both. He discovers that the plan to go underground is a trap, but too late. He fails to save Gordon. He fails to save his fellow officers. He fails to save the children. It's what drives him to become the Batman. Because as an officer of the law he is constrained in what he can do.
  5. @FLD This was the link I was trying to share. No idea why it wouldn't post yesterday. https://twitter.com/XboxSupport2/status/369881821791518720
  6. Nah, nothing official. But they've been increasingly dodging the question so people have started assuming. If it was a true exclusive, I would expect MS to leave no room for doubt and to be shouting it from the rooftops a bit more, to be honest. Like they did with Minecraft? Take this as you will, but I would be surprised to see Titan fall on a non-MS platform. EDIT: Is twitter-linking broken or something?
  7. Marvo! Store on web is a bit flaky.
  8. Did I miss an announcement re: Timed Exclusivity?
  9. I thought that was what you wanted to do! As in "I want to own this without the PS Plus requirement." Or "I love this game so much I just want to give money to the devs." My bad. Is it not showing in your download list?
  10. Can you not just wait till it is no longer a Plus perk, then buy it?
  11. Kick Ass 2. Really enjoyed it. The same mix of violence and humour that seems to work so well. Mindy is class.
  12. I agree in some limited games it could work, but it's not something you could drop in to just any game. I'm thinking of this more in terms of RPGs I guess. You tend to get a boss down to half health and then they get an upgrade so the fight gets more difficult. If it was the other way around, then it just wouldn't feel right. You could have a choice of chipping away with weak attacks and then going for the coup de grace. Or give yourself some breathing space by having a big opening and "weakening" the boss so you can finishing him off in a death by a thousand cuts fashion. I recognise it as a trope, but a trope is not bad by default. It only becomes a trope because it has appeal in the first place.
  13. Online will have them. Might swing by Game.
  14. Request declined! Hahahaha! See how I crush your deams???
  15. Don't necessarily agree with all of these. The save thing assumes that you are already familiar with gaming short-hand. e.g. An icon in the corner of the screen that is spinning / flashing / etc. means a save is happening. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that someone less familiar with games (and PC's in general) would kill a boss think "that's done" and hit the button on the front of the PC. While it probably wouldn't kill the save, it's still safer to let the user know that saving is happening and not to do anything rash until it is done. Having the level of music in a cutscene (or even considering cutscene music separate to the rest of the cutscene audio) doesn't make sense to me. It's like asking that movies have an option to turn off the soundtrack. Enemies getting weaker as you fight them also doesn't work from a pure gameplay standpoint, unless of course you get weaker too. Like in Bushido Blade. Though IIRC some RTS did this. Where damaged units were less effective. Which gave strategic options of taking out enemies altogether to reduce number of attackers (and so enemy DPS) or the effectiveness of all attackers (also reducing enemy DPS).
  16. Did you added me?
  17. Still only one hour sessions. Need to maintain my "filthy casual" status.
  18. What grip do you use? Do they impair the use of the rear touch pad? Personally don't have an issue with aching, but it is not the most comfortable thing to hold ever.
  19. You can't even begin to fathom my confusion. At three hours to complete, three one hour sessions over three days is reasonable. 3 hours would be a fairly speedy run through as well. Routinely takes me 3 calendar days to play games like that.
  20. Definitely going to get Minecraft, Proteus, FEZ and Muraski Baby. Always wanted to give minecraft a go and Vita is the ideal platform for me.
  21. There is, though obviously I can't go in to details about what would constitute suspicious refund behaviour.
  22. What's really weird is the number of consumers saying "24 hours is too much! Why not 12?"
  23. I do wonder how much of the I must pre-order a console market overlaps with the I must have FIFA market... I guess we'll see.

  25. I flippin' hate those retarded intro things. Complete pain in the arse and utterly pointless. No idea what they were thinking. Personally I find it too easy. Since you aren't really progressing up a linear path once you've maxed out one car and move on to the next you go back to super easy and slowly work your way up again to slightly difficult. It's one of those games that I play on my Vita on flights because it's easy to pick up where you left off and once you've completed a car you can just hop to another game for a bit.
