Will be interesting to see if Sony respond by bringing EU launch in line with US.

Yeah, it's not a "first person to invoke a nazism comparison loses" rule it's stating that the longer a discussion continues the more likely it is that nazism will be raised. It's no different to saying "the likelihood that someone will say "um" increases the longer a conversation continues."

http://kitkat.com/#/home Is a pretty cool site too.

And just to be clear, I'm not passing judgement on Dean or any of his family, beyond echoing his feelings that parents should not accessorise their children until they are able to give full and informed consent. Especially where those accessories are permanent.
-
Being a tad snobby, I do tend to be a bit judgemental of parents who have the ears of their children pierced. Especially when they are not even able to stand, let alone walk, or you know, express an opinion about it. EDIT: I mean the children are unable to stand, as they are 6mths old. Not the parents because they are drinking special brew at 8 in the morning.

Partly because it always takes me a beat to work it out, but also because it can't be read like "lol" or "rofl" can. "Smuh"?
-
Not sure if this was intentional, but I love that you used a picture of the GamesMaster. Nostalgia-tastic.

I could never get a tattoo, I'm waaaay too fickle. Had my eybrow pierced for a while in uni. Then I got bored of it after a couple of years.

Stealth Bastard is a great title. Though you may have played it already on PC.
-
Well, depends on how damaged it gets but £100 is definitely (the upper end of) impulse buy territory for my social circle. That's the cost of what? 3 new games?
-
True. But being cheaper makes it a disposable device.
-
There's even some evidence that stereoscopic 3D displays can be used in the treatment of lazy eyes in children. I get the "for kids" angle though since: - 2D display is cheaper and most kids I've seen using 3DS don't use 3D properly. - I'd imagine that a number of DS breakages come from kids trying to bend the screen back too far (the number of times I've seen my nephews and nieces open DS's in a way that makes me draw a sharp intake of breath...) a non-bendy device means that kids won't be breaking DS's at the hinges (I'm sure they'll find other ways). - Less moving parts would (I assume) make this cheaper to manufacture than a clamshell 3DS. So yeah, cheaper, more durable, this is essentially a 2nd 3DS so that the grownups can keep theirs pristine while the kids can play on the games.

I will be mostly playing BF4, but this will likely find it's way onto my PS4 on launch day as well.

Me.

Killzone really impressed me. I like that it is not too fast as I don't think I could cope with it. Also, Killzone games have always had a degree of heft to them.

Totally agree pacing was off. It's supposed to be about 6 months between getting his arse handed to him and returning I think. Felt more like a week. -

To be fair, it was probably a good candidate for a two parter. Could have dumped Bruce in the gulag then come back six real months later, that way I would have actually noticed that some time was meant to have passed. -
I never put sugar in my coffee, even the epic Turkish stuff. My grandad's a Turk (along with half that side of the family) and he thinks I'm mad. I just love that bitter, take your face off taste. Drunk with some really dark chocolate to accompany it and it's perfect.

That's the whole point of Blake's story arc. Everything he does as an officer of the law is a failure. He goes to interrogate Bane's henchmen and kills them both. He discovers that the plan to go underground is a trap, but too late. He fails to save Gordon. He fails to save his fellow officers. He fails to save the children. It's what drives him to become the Batman. Because as an officer of the law he is constrained in what he can do. -
@FLD This was the link I was trying to share. No idea why it wouldn't post yesterday. https://twitter.com/XboxSupport2/status/369881821791518720

Nah, nothing official. But they've been increasingly dodging the question so people have started assuming. If it was a true exclusive, I would expect MS to leave no room for doubt and to be shouting it from the rooftops a bit more, to be honest. Like they did with Minecraft? Take this as you will, but I would be surprised to see Titan fall on a non-MS platform. EDIT: Is twitter-linking broken or something?
-
Marvo! Store on web is a bit flaky.

Did I miss an announcement re: Timed Exclusivity?

I thought that was what you wanted to do! As in "I want to own this without the PS Plus requirement." Or "I love this game so much I just want to give money to the devs." My bad. Is it not showing in your download list?
