Did not know that. Maybe they should add a lefty or two into the ads. As for size. I, for example would be happy with a Note sized device for emailing, watching videos and playing games. But for general phoney things like checking the time, texting, and checking emails, tweets and other notifications a smaller device would be preferable. A Note III + Gear bundle would be tempting.

"Second Party": Two words. Four syllables. Twelve characters. Everyone knows what you mean. "Limited Third Party": Three words. Six syllables. Eighteen characters. Nobody apart from FDS knows what you are on about. Ignoring the time taken in arguing semantics with a pedant, "Second Party" is much more efficient way of making the point.

Problem I have with Notes is that they use pens and I am sinister. Means that little things like the menus and stuff tend to be aligned for right handedness. Also, I totally get pairing your biggest phone with the smart watch. It's the third Note, but lots of people might have been holding off due to size issues. The gear removes that barrier to entry (at a significant cost).

I see. Big difference between exclusives and "exclusives". PS exclusives will all only be on PS. Xbox has a different interpretation of the word, hence quotation marks.

Purchased Killzone Mercs. Anyone else? Not played it since the Beta started so not sure how friends, clans whatever work.
-
It get's the point across. At the end of the day that's the aim right?
-
No idea if they will or not. But other exclusives, Titan Fall being a prime example, will be on PC. My point being that PC + PS4 will give you a broader spectrum than PC + XBox One. There will still be one or two exceptions but then I never really was overly enamoured of Halo.

Killzone Mercs. (Vita) Walking Dead. (Vita) Also got Stealth Bastard, Urban Trials and New Little Kings Story on Vita thanks to Plus. Vita is rapidly becoming my #1 gaming device.
-
Back on topic, I'd not bother with an Xbone largely because if you have a PC and a PS4 you will get all the PS4 exclusives and all the Xbox One "exclusives" (eventually).

Who the hell eats KitKats so wrong?

Will be interesting to see if Sony respond by bringing EU launch in line with US.

Yeah, it's not a "first person to invoke a nazism comparison loses" rule it's stating that the longer a discussion continues the more likely it is that nazism will be raised. It's no different to saying "the likelihood that someone will say "um" increases the longer a conversation continues."

http://kitkat.com/#/home Is a pretty cool site too.

And just to be clear, I'm not passing judgement on Dean or any of his family, beyond echoing his feelings that parents should not accessorise their children until they are able to give full and informed consent. Especially where those accessories are permanent.
-
Being a tad snobby, I do tend to be a bit judgemental of parents who have the ears of their children pierced. Especially when they are not even able to stand, let alone walk, or you know, express an opinion about it. EDIT: I mean the children are unable to stand, as they are 6mths old. Not the parents because they are drinking special brew at 8 in the morning.

Partly because it always takes me a beat to work it out, but also because it can't be read like "lol" or "rofl" can. "Smuh"?
-
Not sure if this was intentional, but I love that you used a picture of the GamesMaster. Nostalgia-tastic.

I could never get a tattoo, I'm waaaay too fickle. Had my eybrow pierced for a while in uni. Then I got bored of it after a couple of years.

Stealth Bastard is a great title. Though you may have played it already on PC.
-
Well, depends on how damaged it gets but £100 is definitely (the upper end of) impulse buy territory for my social circle. That's the cost of what? 3 new games?
-
True. But being cheaper makes it a disposable device.
-
There's even some evidence that stereoscopic 3D displays can be used in the treatment of lazy eyes in children. I get the "for kids" angle though since: - 2D display is cheaper and most kids I've seen using 3DS don't use 3D properly. - I'd imagine that a number of DS breakages come from kids trying to bend the screen back too far (the number of times I've seen my nephews and nieces open DS's in a way that makes me draw a sharp intake of breath...) a non-bendy device means that kids won't be breaking DS's at the hinges (I'm sure they'll find other ways). - Less moving parts would (I assume) make this cheaper to manufacture than a clamshell 3DS. So yeah, cheaper, more durable, this is essentially a 2nd 3DS so that the grownups can keep theirs pristine while the kids can play on the games.

I will be mostly playing BF4, but this will likely find it's way onto my PS4 on launch day as well.

Me.
