I sincerely doubt the NX will release prior to fall 2017. Gamecube was announced (as "Project Dolphin") in 1999, unveiled in 2000, released in fall 2001. Wii was announced at E3 2004, unveiled at E3 2005, released in fall 2006. Wii U was announced early in 2011, unveiled at E3 2011, released fall 2012. NX was just announced this year, and following that pattern it would have been unveiled at E3 this year if it were going to be released next year, so far more likely it will be unveiled at E3 2016 and released fall 2017. *Edit - That would also put 5 years between generations, which would be much more palatable to fans than a 4-year generation.

Third time's the charm: 3 hours in to Fallout 4 and I've only just gotten my power armor. Maybe I've been overdoing the exploration a tad.

Only enemies who can get into the power armor, naturally. Rad roaches won't steal it, but raiders will.

Graphical comparison between the three platforms: Basically the only difference is the framerate (duh, PC isn't limited to 30) and the shadows, which have a way longer draw distance on PC. Everything else is basically identical, although admittedly the shadows make a huge difference on long-distance views.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure AC: Unity is literally the only multiplatform game where Xbone has an advantage over PS4. For everything else either they're exactly the same or PS4 is better. *Edit - With the exception of the weird thing where Xbone games have better AF than PS4 games, although with Fallout it appears they have the exact same level of AF.

That, and even putting that aside PS4 has a few fps advantage even when they're both dropping. To be fair, the 0 fps thing looks more like a loading issue than the type of performance issue that typically causes dropped frames. At certain points when it's loading new assets in it freezes for a short time, but it's not an ongoing thing. *Edit - "Handful"? There's 100 songs in the playlist...

Alright, PS4 version it is. I had expected that to be the case, but thought there was a slight possibility it might pull a Unity and perform better on Xbone, especially since that was the lead console (I know PC was the lead platform overall). Now to decide whether I want it on disc or should just get the digital version...

I feel like the computer animation looks too cartoony. Like, it would be fine if the humans were also computer animated in a similar style, but I feel like it doesn't work with the live action humans.

The thing I found most convincing that it might have been on purpose was the jump down thing when they were ambushing the droids. At first I thought it was just bad editing, until I noticed that you can watch one of the droid's heads track his movement, which shows it was intentional (I actually noticed that before I read the part where the guy mentions it). Now, all that really proves is that somebody on the editing team noticed the weirdness of his physical location and acknowledged it, doesn't actually prove anything about the plot, but it is a fun theory. Cause yeah, the subtlety was not strong with Lucas in that film.

Jar Jar is actually the true leader behind Palpatine. It's actually pretty convincing, though I think the idea that Disney will bring it back in the new movies is unlikely in the extreme.

So, I know it's superficial, but I'm predisposed to side with the airship people (is it the Brotherhood?) based solely on the fact that they have an airship. Airships are awesome. Maybe I can steal their airship...
