No, you don't fail, unless the last person ALSO DIES. If you and I are playing coop, and have 0 lives, and you die, it doesn't end the game unless and until I also die. This is as opposed to the GTA heists, where it DOES end the game when someone dies, even if others are still alive.

According to Wookieepedia their average lifespan is 400+ years BUT that info is surely from the EU, which has been deprecated.

I've had my eye on it for a while, and it happened to drop in price to exactly the amount I needed for free shipping on another order.

I'm kinda sad Chewie hasn't gone at least a little grey...

Yeah, dean, you completely misunderstood what I was saying, Hot Heart got it though. You said that if you, as a group, have 0 lives, and one person dies, then the whole group fails at that instant. I said no, it just prevents you from respawning, but as long as you don't die you can keep playing.
-
@Dean: I thought Little Big Planet had the more sensible approach of lives = respawns, so if you died with no lives left you couldn't respawn but your partner could keep going.

Apparently they're actually doing better than that looks: it comes down a little bit off target on purpose and then is supposed to correct at the end, the idea being that if it screws up there will hopefully be less damage to the boat.

Re: traffic density: From what I can find online it appears the traffic/pedestrian density is slightly increased on PC/PS4/Xbone as compared to PS360, but it's not that much. The bigger change is the extended distance at which traffic is visible.

To be fair, they really do need to up their funding to the quantum entanglement communication research department.

"Geometry" in games is basically the polygons that make up the models. Level geometry is that for the models that are actually part of the level itself (rather than characters, enemies, vehicles, etc).

lol, what specific example brought this up?

An interesting read about AI, not so much the actual technology of it but the implications of true Strong AI. Thought it was appropriate given Age of Ultron coming out soon. Part 1 Part 2 I for one welcome our new machine overlords. In the realm of the more concrete, there's this robot chef replacement that's intended to go on sale in 2017: http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-32282131

If they keep up this quality level I'm gonna be super psyched.

The navigation aspect sounds a little bit like a metroidvania. I mean, I get that it's not a metroidvania, but the whole concept of opening up new ways to get places and going back through previous places.
-
It is. Multiple references to damage done by/rebuilding after the Battle of New York, as well as oblique references to Iron Man and Thor, and probably more that I don't remember.

Oh Peter Russo...

For me the issue is more that he redirected it to pages that make him money, because I can see how the domain purchase itself could have been investigatory.

Yeah, back when it was named that it was gritty and crime-filled.

Oculus. Watched it with my wife last night. It was weird, I enjoyed it while watching it, but overall I would have said it was especially scary. Then I woke up this morning at 5:00 from literally the second nightmare I've ever had in my entire life, about this movie. Not quite sure what to make of that.
-
Yeah, I agree that it would be neat if they would take that into account.

I've just always hated the DS3's sticks for a variety of reasons: the gigantic deadzone in the center, how loose they are, and the convex thumbpads which cause my thumbs to walk their way off the stick. The DS4's thumbsticks are on par with the 360 pad's (which I think actually makes them superior to the Xbone sticks). As for the triggers, that's less of an issue, but the ones on the DS3 are just so gummy feeling, and the convex shape makes your finger want to slide off the bottom. The DS4's triggers have a better consistency to them when pushed, and the concave shape is a better rest for your finger.
-
I'm guessing it's just that historically Daredevil has been based out of Hell's Kitchen, and they wanted to stay true to that.
-
I think the DS4's sticks and triggers are both miles ahead of the DS3, and totally worth an upgrade.
-
Yeah, it's weird how unsure of himself he seems.

@TCP: Maybe because the service isn't taking off and they think they can make more money this way? Also, PS Now is on more devices than just PS4, and this release won't compete on any of those other platforms.
