I think assuming the focus is the NA market is fair, since it's specifically a North American Nintendo Direct. I agree with you though that most people probably don't care to watch it live anyway (I sure don't).

I love it when games do that. Playing Captain Toad I thought I'd finished it (credits rolled and everything) and went "that's it?", only for it then to unlock Episode 2, which is just as many levels as Episode 1. After finishing Episode 2 I was like "that was a good game" only for Episode 3 to unlock!

Five years old, but still cool: As a celebration of their 50th anniversary the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash tested a 1959 Chevy Bel Air vs. a 2009 Chevy Malibu. The most amazing thing to me is how much better the passenger compartment holds together in the newer car.
