  1. I would agree with you about Batman, except I think the problems with Origins are entirely due to it meeting made by a different developer. It just feels like everything's a little off.
  2. Unity and Inquisition are the next tier down below Destiny and Arkham Knight for me, with Inquisition being a little higher than Unity.
  3. Legality is part of the issue. Someone who isn't a "criminal" but happens to own a gun is way more likely to use it in a fit of rage than someone who doesn't own a gun. But yeah, people who really want guns to commit a crime are always going to be able to get them.
  4. The only Nintendo game I'm anticipating right now is Zelda. I'm mildly interested in Super Smash, but if it just never materialized I wouldn't be torn up about it. Overall my most anticipated game right now is the Master Chief Collection (I know, it's lame), with Destiny and Arkham Knight tied for a close second.
  5. I dunno, I've managed not to kill anyone yet.
  6. Yeah, I'm sure there are people who do it, but they must be rare, because I live in one of the reddest states and have never seen that before.
  7. Yeah, that game is like Uncharted-meets-metroidvania. It's pretty great.
  8. Guacamelee! I really enjoyed it. Challenging without being punishing, which was a pleasant surprise since I'd gone in expecting punishing based on what I'd heard people say about it.
  9. My home button has always just taken me back to whatever desktop page I was last on, and then if I hit it again it takes me to the home one.
  10. Yeah, don't mistake this for complaining, I really like this game. It's challenging without being punishing. I'd just expected it to be more punishing since I'd heard it was hard, and usually when people on the internet talk about a game being hard it's not in a way I enjoy.
  11. That's the third-to-last boss, and I've already beaten the next one ( ). He was a little harder, but not much.
  12. You mean like this one? I've already beat the boss after that too. Honestly, it seems like they're getting easier as I go, which is weird. I definitely have encountered some of the devious optional platforming bits though.
  13. Huh, I've got an S4 on the newest firmware and I've still got separate settings for GPS and network location.
  14. You can't go into the settings anymore to individually activate/deactivate GPS and network location?
  15. I would have played it if it'd ever gone on Plus. I'm not sure exactly what the changes are in the Super Whatever edition.
  16. I'm fine with 7 being considered "average". I mean, a 70% is a C, which is supposed to be the average grade, so it makes sense to me. *Edit* - That said, if I'm rating things with stars I do tend to apply the middle = average idea. Generally I go llike this: 1 star - I really didn't like it 2 stars - I didn't like it 3 stars - it was okay 4 stars - I liked it 5 stars - I really liked it I don't know why stars seem different to me.
  17. I've been playing Guacamelee, free from XBL, and it's pretty great. I think I'd been turned off initially from people talking about it being great because it's hard (I could be wrong about that), but it doesn't seem too bad and I think I'm pretty far through it.
  18. Even the porn is fine in the right threads.
  19. Yeah, 3 will feel samey after 2, but 2 is quite a big change from 1.
  20. Can you give some examples of what you'd call a "specialist game"?
  21. Ooh, of you liked Uncharted you really need to play Uncharted 2, it's better in basically every way.
  22. Welcome, my fellow abbreviator, nice to meet you. I'm TME, we've got TCP, FDS, FLD, WaS, I'm sure others I can't think of right now...
  23. Oh, my disillusionment has nothing to do with the voters, it's the ridiculous procedures set up for the minute-to-minute operation of the government, most of which is not constitutionally required, it's just how they chose to run things. I mean yes, sometime's I'm frustrated with the populace as well, but I can understand that different people are going to have different views about things, even if it's for stupid reasons. It doesn't crush my soul the way the government's procedures do.
