NSMBU looks great. I didn't play enough of the others to comment on them though.

So did I understand that right that you can follow whomever you want (provided their privacy settings allow it), and then you're "friends" with someone if you are both following each other?
-
Yeah, I do have a preorder, but still I think it was probably premature to claim it now. But I can't remove it without redoing my whole vote, and I don't care that much.
-
Yeah, I was only a couple hours in when I posted that. Having finished the game now I would agree with you.
-
Yeah, it's not that it's actually going to hurt it, it's just it can't charge fast enough to keep up with use so your battery will still go down over time.

Shield?
-
Yeah, this. And I agree the Link Between Worlds Link looks stupid.
-
I played for a little bit earlier today and is it just me or is their only like a quarter as much traffic online?
-
No, it's just like solo, either Aiden or Jodie is active, not both. It's just coop has each one being controlled by a different controller.
-
Just watched it, thought it was good except for the end.

Beyond: Two Souls. I can understand why some people don't like Quantic Dream's games, but what I don't understand is the reviews saying this is no Heavy Rain. It's significantly better than Heavy Rain. The writing is better, the acting is better, the story is better, everything's just better. Highly recommend it for anyone who liked Heavy Rain.

I think part of a reason a lot of people liked it (myself included) is that it's a return to an older style of horror movie that we haven't seen much of in recent years/decades. *Edit* - And I'm pretty sure basically everything I've read about it admits that it's cliche as hell, it's just very well executed.
-
As far as I understood it's 3DS only.

Coincidentally, CoD4 was the last CoD that I really liked. -
Yeah, that was my reaction too...

Rented Beyond: Two Souls. I'm enjoying it so far, but unlike Heavy Rain I don't feel like my actions have any consequences.
-
Yeah, it has basically nothing to do with the actual effects of Obamacare, it's all about the Tea Party not having the ability to actually repeal it, so they're holding the budget/debt ceiling hostage to try to force dems to de-fund it.

Portal is a great choice. Also, CoD is arcadey? It's way less arcadey than stuff that came before. Quake, Unreal Tournament, Tribes, etc. If anything CoD4 ended the age of the arcade shooter started the supremacy of "realistic" shooters. -
Goddamn, $5? I'll probably get that even though I'll probably never play it...

Oh, I didn't realize we were seeding that way. Now I have to think even harder... *Edit* - Actually, that wasn't that hard. -
I've been trying to play Saints Row 4, but I just can't get into it. The world has no personality. It really feels like DLC (which I know is how it started out).

Dead Space 2 may have been better from a gameplay perspective, but I just couldn't get into it because all the novelty was gone, and horror games rely on the unknown to be scary. -

Mass Effect (1) Halo: Reach Mirror's Edge Red Dead Redemption The Last of Us I would have thrown RDR in there instead of Halo, but TCP already nominated it. -
Yeah, basically that.

I'd rather the spin jumps be on a button, a la Super Mario World. Or NSMBU. Or even better would be a setting to let you pick, and also to let you pick whether you want to use the touch screen or the gyro for aiming starbits.
