  1. I'm still on G for my wifi at my house and I don't even have problems with that. Course all my important things I ran ethernet for.
  2. Apparently they just don't want to have all the money. They feel it would be unfair to their competition. But seriously, Pokemon MMO is a fucking WoW-killer. And I'm someone who thinks it's stupid to think anything is a WoW-killer.
  3. Oh yeah, it's only gone up like 20 cents from when I saw that last night, so not that many people must even be paying the average.
  4. I had completely forgotten that song even existed. You're lucky it's impossible to punch people through the internet.
  5. Yeah, the only reason I have mixed feelings about them going third party is that I'm not 100% sure their games would stay at their high quality bar, given that they would no longer have the pressure of selling a system. The idea of being able to play my Marios and Zeldas on PS4/Xbone/PC though is fan-fucking-tastic. *Edit* - Re: Arkham Origins MP: The announcement of multiplayer actually devalued the game in my opinion, and made me slightly regretful of my PC preorder I just did yesterday.
  6. I think a 3D Mario game could sell systems, but Super Mario 3D World is not that game. We need something new, and full-fledged feeling, like Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy were. This feels like a game that should be $40. I plan to get it, and I'm sure I will enjoy it, but it does not seem like a real 3D Mario game, more like a weird offshoot of NSMB. I still think that Mario Kart and Smash Bros could sell systems, but they would need to release holiday, not after. As for Nintendo going the way of Sega, I want to say I'd be okay with that, but I'm not convinced the quality of their games would stay up if that happened. Though at the moment we're not really getting any games at all...
  7. I just realized that Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart 8 aren't coming out this fall. What the fuck Nintendo? Are you retarded? There's also Super Mario 3D World this fall, but I'm not sure how much that will drive sales either.
  8. I know this has been posted before, but it just bothers me SO MUCH
  9. Just bought this on GMG, getting a $12 credit out of the deal. I'll probably end up using that on the Bioshock Infinite season pass, but since the Rapture DLC isn't out yet I'm going to wait and see if I can combine it with a % off voucher.
  10. Upcoming singleplayer DLC takes you to Rapture. It's a two-parter. Here's an interview with Ken Levine about it. Presumably it has to do with (Infinite spoilers):
  11. Civ V: Brave New World. I haven't gotten far enough along for the new culture stuff to really kick in, so so far my exposure to the changes has just been making a few trade routes, the new policy options, and encountering a couple new civs (and playing as Poland).
  12. I like aversions of Chekov's gun because it makes it harder to predict what's going to happen.
  13. I rage-quit for like an hour at the Arkham Asylum one, until I went back to try it again and it happened again, at which point I googled it and felt like an idiot.
  14. Eternal Darkness for the Gamecube seems in the same vein as well.
  15. It just got delayed from September to November, but either way that's not this week.
  16. Isn't it standard to give release dates for "North America" or "NA", rather than the US specifically? Obviously that refers to both Canada and the US (does it also include Mexico? I know geographically they're North American but I don't know how companies treat it).
  17. No, it was made by Cambridge Studio "in conjunction with" Media Molecule. LBP Vita was made by Double Eleven, Tarsier Studios and XDev.
  18. So, after that American news station had the incorrect Korean Air crew names in their story about that crash, a Korean news station has made fun of them in their coverage of the Southwest Airlines landing gear failure. According to them the crew of that plane was Captain Kent Parker Wright and Co-Captain Wyatt Wooden Workman. They also interviewed flight instructor Heywood U. Flye-Moore and passenger Macy Lawyers.
  19. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I really really liked it, although the ending kind of disappointed me. It was very abrupt. Played the game for 86 hours though, so they must have done something I liked. I started to get kind of fatigued around 75 hours, but then it picked up again and I really liked the last 8 hours or so (except for the abruptness of the ending). I'm pretty sure my previous record for a single playthrough of a game was 75 hours in Skyrim, so this takes that title now.
  20. Some retailer recently advertised a black one, so that should be coming soon.
  21. Exactly, he explained his point instead of just saying "your entitlement is leaking." That's my point.
  22. Well the thing Hottie linked said they don't want to do the same kind of anthology thing again, with different characters having their own episodes, so that might improve it for you.
  23. Insidious. It was just... not good. It wasn't scary, it wasn't creepy, it wasn't even really campy. How in the world did this thing get a sequel? I'm glad I saw The Conjuring first, because it was really good and I would never have gone to see it if I had watched this monstrosity first.
  24. I know for the projects I've backed I'd prefer they delayed the project (within reason, obviously not for years and years) and ship something that feels complete rather than ship something with obvious flaws or omissions but "on time". Now obviously I'd rather they ship an incomplete-ish game than nothing at all, so if the danger is running out of funding and not finishing it at all then yeah, do it. Obviously I have no idea which situation this is. @FDS: It does not reflect well on you when your response to every criticism of a game design choice is "you're just entitled". It's essentially an ad hominem. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing with a dev's design decision.
