That's true, but what else should I do with my Dead Space 1 and Mirror's Edge Steam keys when I already own those games? *Edit* - Also, it seems kind of silly to redeem both the Steam and Origin keys for the same games.

Did they change it then? When I did it there wasn't even a slider for EA, only ones for the charities and one for the Humble Tip.

Humble Origin Bundle. I was on edge, and the fact that EA is giving 100% of their cut to charity put me over that edge. Still not 100% sure which codes I'm going to keep for myself and which I will give away. *Edit* - Does anyone know if I can redeem both the Steam and Origin keys, or if I have to choose one?

That situation might be alleviated somewhat if Nintendo would ever lower their goddamned prices. It makes it really hard to justify buying a game you're just kind of interested in.

Now you're just trolling. Console games are routinely up on torrent sites, with thousands of downloads, weeks prior to the game even coming out. PC games typically aren't on them until a couple weeks /after/ the game is released. On PC you also have to crack each game individually, whereas on console if you've got your console hacked you just download the game and are good to go.

There's also the strange perception that piracy only exists on PC, and devs want to encourage people to buy the console version rather than waiting to pirate the PC version.

PS4 is the only one with a game video streaming service (Gakai). But both allow you to begin playing when the download is only partially complete, and it will download the rest in the background while you play.

Yes, but immediately following that sentence you said "Especially in GTA series." Reading them together, the implication is that RDR is in the GTA series.

The way you wrote it does read like you're saying that RDR is the only notable one in the GTA series that hasn't come to PC. Yeah, that's not what I meant, it was just the first example that popped to mind of a game with no PC version announced originally mysteriously appearing on the platform a few months later.

Because they want people to buy the console version instead of waiting for the PC version, so if they're hush hush about it then people like madbass will get impatient and just buy the console version.

I don't care about any exclusives, for either console, except for Halo. Though if they announced Viva Pinata 3 I'd be all over that shit.

Not having down time between retries certainly helps, but at a certain point repetition is just frustrating and unfun to me, no matter how rapidly I can retry.

I mean "exclusive to consoles". There is no PC version.

See, with all this backpedaling the Xbone is quickly becoming my most likely console, simply because I'm being honest when I say I do not care at all about any of PS's exclusives. I just wish Destiny weren't console-exclusive.

I'm not going to be an early adopter of either console most likely (unless I get sucked in by Destiny), but this makes me less hostile to the idea of someday getting an Xbone.

Yeah, it's the same as the slim, which is the same as the PS2 and PSP and Vita and every other Sony product I've ever owned, which is actually really convenient.

Oh, I'll be sure to buy more things through Amazon then. They're also nice for preorders because unlike Steam you can cancel it until the code is actually delivered (I THINK, if you try this and it doesn't work I take no responsibility).
