That scene would have been three trillion times better if they'd revealed his name to be Dick Grayson. As is it's just awful.

This driving thing is such an interesting cultural difference to me. Where I'm from everyone who can even remotely afford it starts driving as soon as they're legally allowed to (and many before that), because you have to be able to drive to get anywhere. There's no public/mass transit at all and it's typically 30 miles or more between towns of any size. Hell, even the movie theater is five miles outside of town because we share it with another nearby town, so its built in between (we're unusually close to each other for this area).

I actually haven't heard of any, which is surprising now that you draw it to my attention.

The night before last we got freaking 6 inches of rain. In one storm. In mid July. That is unheard of. We don't usually get 6 inches of rain altogether from July through September.

The Conjuring. Quite cliche, but really well done. @Wally: I thought Sinister was almost really good, but just had enough problems that the whole was less than the sum of its parts. It was okay, but not near as good as it could have been.

I specifically stopped playing Civ V a couple months ago so that wouldn't happen to me.

The leak is a horrible horrible cam. So bad that even as excited as I am I don't think it's worth watching. I knew it would be a cam, but I'd hoped for better than this.

I enjoyed TDKR a lot more on my second viewing. I think once I knew what to expect I was more in the right mindset for it. TDK was always going to be a hard movie to follow up.

I just watched Book 1 last week... Now I want to watch it again. There's supposedly going to be a leaked copy of the first episode put up tomorrow (the 21st) at noon British Standard Time.

Batman certainly qualifies, Superman not so much.

Strike Suit Infinity has a 66 on Metacritic (yeah, yeah, I know), and Strike Suit Zero has a 65. So general consensus doesn't seem to be that either one is better than the other.

Obviously it differs based on my level of interest in a game, but my complete "fuck it, I'm curious" price is $1.25 or less.
