  1. 6.2% is a lot higher than I would have expected based on how hard I hear that is.
  2. The V2 doesn't have a headphone jack on the headset cable? Also, what's better about the processor box?
  3. You will still get the PS+ Collection, which is exclusive for PS5, and includes a bunch of the "major" games from the past generation (Uncharted 4, Bloodborne, The Last Guardian, etc). That's available to anyone with a PS5 and PS+, with no time limit to claim it announced so far, so it basically works like Gamepass (albeit with a much smaller library).
  4. Yes. *Edit - Except for the PS+ Collection you get for getting a PS5, I believe that's available to claim indefinitely (since they know lots of people will be getting PS5's well after the launch window).
  5. I have renewed my pledge to not buy any game unless I want to play it right now. I have gone a little overboard recently...
  6. I've got that sitting on my shelf, it'll probably be the next thing I play after I'm done with Death Stranding.
  7. They haven't really changed Plus, but it's also half the price of Gamepass (and even less if you get it on sale).
  8. My wife and I watched that a couple months ago. She'd never seen it before, and I hadn't since I was a kid. I agree it's pretty good.
  9. That restores some slight amount of my faith in our country.
  10. I've been wishing I had some colored controllers, but I already have two and that's all I need so I know I'm not going to buy colored ones if they ever come out. Well lo and behold, Decor Evolve has face plates for $10, with 10% off if you buy two, and the colors are great!
  11. More like 10 minutes. I can download on my connection at 20-30 MB/s, and installing off a disc tends to take about 1/2 to 2/3 as long as a download. But yeah, I mostly use discs because I mostly play singleplayer story-driven games, so when I'm done with them I can sell them on and put that money towards more games.
  12. Yeah, you have to, you can't play straight from the disc. It depends how big the game is, but the drive's pretty fast, it doesn't take as long as PS4 certainly. I was able to clear up about ~230 GB though just by deleting stuff that I had sitting on there in case I ever wanted to play it but that I wasn't likely to play anytime soon.
  13. So when everyone was talking about how the next-gen consoles didn't have enough storage space, I was like "since I mostly only play one game at a time, this won't be an issue for me." Well...
  14. I was really surprised that PSVR didn't make me sick, as I'm usually prone to motion sickness. I've had no issues though. I wonder if taking off the light shield also helped with your motion sickness, by letting your brain see the real environment around you, which will of course match the movement sensations in your inner ear, that might lessen the effect of the display.
  15. There were only two Republicans in the Senate who objected to certification. It was a majority of them in the House, but then Senate there was almost no backing for it. And the Senate is where he has to be convicted.
  16. Sorry, this is incorrect. Removal is automatic if the person is still in office, it's the disqualification that they have to vote on.
  17. Sorry, I don't think I explained what I meant very clearly. You're right, they do have to convict him in the Senate to vote on barring him from holding office again. But what I meant was since the trial won't be done until after he's already out of office, a conviction won't remove him from office, he'll already be gone. I think that might make it more palatable to Republicans, because they won't be removing a sitting Republican president from office, they'll just be barring him from running again after the fact. *Edit - Didn't see @Thursday Next's post. Yes and no. A 2/3 vote of the Senate is required to convict him, but once he's convicted they then vote on what the punishment should be. Removal and barring from further office aren't automatic, and the Senate doesn't have to impose them if they don't want to.
  18. Yes, I cannot explain why I like it, nor can I explain what the game is to anyone else without making it sound boring as hell.
  19. I think I fucked myself over in trying to play Bloodborne by doing this. Bloodborne is still hovering in the back of my mind as something I'd like to play, but every time I think of actually playing it I'm like "yeah, but I'd rather play Death Stranding instead".
