I use Opera Mini on my phone, and I like that a lot. I've never really liked the desktop version though.

No different than getting used to the d-pad being down where the left analog pad had been when the Xbox was introduced. I still maintain that every controller should have 4 modules, one each for the d-pad, each stick, and the face buttons, that you can rearrange however the hell you want.

Yeah, I think it should be a defense to a patent infringement lawsuit that you invented the thing independently. Patents would still be there to prevent idea-copying/reverse engineering, but if you truly did come up with it on your own you'd be safe.

From what (admittedly little) I know about it I thought that only applied to people not yet born, that it didn't change the existing line of succession for people who are already living.

What's wrong with nostalgia? As long as you recognize what it is, and don't fall into the "old things are objectively better" trap I think it's fine.

So forgive me if I'm way behind the curve on this one, but I now have a theory as to why it appears that every firebender (or at least a lot of them) can bend lightning also: In TLA it was explained that lightning came from calm, deliberate manipulation of energy, and that the Fire Nation had perverted firebending to be based on rage and emotion. So my thought is that Zuko, in reforming the Fire Nation, also worked to bring firebending back to its origins, and that the change in focus allows more people to bend lightning because it's no longer at odds with the basis of their firebending.

The survival mechanics look awesome. This is the first time I've been interested in a Tomb Raider game since... ever.

I'm a total consumer whore, but that could actually sell me a Vita depending on how well it turns out.

Solved the problem, if anyone else runs into it: shift-tabbing, to use the Steam overlay, makes the game think you're holding down the shift button. You can fix it by just hitting shift several times once you've returned to the game.

I can't help but look at the EU and all the sovereignty concerns and stuff and think of the US in the early, post-revolution days.

My friends in college used to refer to the "Two Burrito Challenge." I never even attempted it, but three of them succeeded. *Edit* - Though at least one of the ones who succeeded has also been known to eat an entire large Pizza Hut pizza alone in a single sitting.

Is there a way to cancel a research and change to something else? If I click on a different research it just adds it to the queue, I can't figure out how to remove things from the queue.

I've always been confused about the FF numbering. Do the "versus" games have anything to do with the numbered title they go with?
