  1. Yeah, I can climb a fucking chain link fence irl, and I'm not exactly an olympic athlete...
  2. It was Stay Puft marshmallows. I tend to not notice product placement either unless it's really really hamfisted, which tends to either mean they go way out of their way to zoom in on the logo or it's stuff like the "vintage 2004" from I, Robot.
  3. I agree wholeheartedly. Though I'm surprised sites like Youtube don't detect that you're using it and block the actual video from playing too.
  4. Yeah, I originally was looking for an animation of one opening and closing, but apparently they're too old school.
  5. Adblock is your friend (make sure to whitelist the forum though).
  6. That's not a flipping phone, this is a flipping phone: I know, fucking retarded.
  7. Bungie's new project: http://www.joystiq.com/2012/05/21/activision-bungie-contract-reveals-four-game-plan-code-named-de/ The reason I'm posting it here is because I'm wondering if the timed Xbox exclusivity is some remnant of Bungie's deal with MS, or just that they're more familiar with the 360.
  8. "I promise I won't deactivate the light bridge while you're over the acid."
  9. atm we just know the accounts were hijacked, don't know anything about methods.
  10. It's so weird that Google Chrome isn't available on [Google] Android.
  11. Oftentimes puzzle-heavy games give me more trouble on my second time through because I remember most of the puzzle but I'm forgetting one crucial aspect of it. Then it's hard to figure out what I'm missing because I just did the rest by rote, without really thinking through why I was doing the things, so I have to try and work it all back out again from scratch.
  12. It was bound to happen.
  13. I couldn't ever get into Sins of a Solar Empire because I prefer my 4X games to be turn-based.
  14. I like some aim assist when I'm using a controller, but I agree that actual lock-on is lame. *Edit* - The exception to that (contrary to everyone else, apparently) is RDR: I thought the lock-on in that game really helped with the fantasy of being the quick-draw, gunfighting cowboy badass.
  15. Obviously we should just abolish all laws and government entirely, and let every live or die, succeed or fail as fortune dictates.
  16. To explain the 47% thing: in 2009 47% of US households paid no federal income tax. Source: http://money.cnn.com/2009/09/30/pf/taxes/who_pays_taxes/index.htm However, that doesn't mean they don't still pay taxes. From the article:
  17. I can't think of a single boss fight from a shooter that I've ever liked. *Edit* - I don't think you need to have a final boss fight to have a good ending though. Look at Halo 1, that ending is fantastic.
  18. Yeah, don't just blindly follow SRL, you need to actually think about what the requirements are rather than just looking at the pass/fail. Your CPU easily meets the recommended. SRL is useful but it's not perfect.
  19. I can never put screen protectors on right either, but when I got my phone the girl at the store did it for me and she got it perfectly. I shall have to study her art.

  21. How do we know who their other kids were? Besides their names, I mean. Also, if bending is genetic then non-benders must at least be able to be carriers, or Katara and Aang had a lot more kids than we know about:
  22. If you're worried about Aero hurting your battery life you can always turn it off. I actually like the Aero-less interface (even though Aero is so pretty...)
