  1. Here's how I almost always discover a bear: Bear: "ROAR!" *charges*
  2. Yeah, I think the 252-121 jump was when I went "oh shit", panicked, and moved all my money into the national treasury.
  3. Whoever wrote that tip that bears don't attack unless provoked either never played the game or has a strange definition of the word "provoked".
  4. lol, is there any way that a Model M for a phone could ever be practical?
  5. *Edit* - Link broke, it was the cast of Happy Days at Arnold's Drive-In.
  6. I do, actually. I'm not gonna drag my computer into the main room to hook it up to the TV, but I'll try the lapdesk at my deskdesk and see how that works, since the real question isn't the tv part but whether the G13 + mouse is usable on that.
  7. I didn't even know you could spin the model. TCP are you playing on PC or console? I ask because for me the load screens never seemed very long.
  8. Definitely recommend Nevada Skies.
  9. Interesting, though I don't think the article really supports the headline (surprise surprise).
  10. Batman Arkham City! Finally escaped from the life-consumer that is Skyrim.
  11. Yeah, I think arcade/puzzle games like that are inherently replayable. Or more accurately the term "replayability" doesn't even really apply since you can't ever "finish" them. I think most racing games and multiplayer games don't really count in here for the same reason. You never finish CoD's multiplayer, so you can't really "replay" it. The idea of replaying kind of presupposes something that can be played through to completion.
  12. I've played on my couch with my 47-inch TV with a 360 controller, and it was like playing the most gorgeous console games ever made. Wasn't very convenient for regular computer use though.
  13. I don't think there has to be an end of any kind. I mean, I'm sure that in 20,000 years there won't still be Zelda games being made, but that doesn't mean it ever has to really be ended.
  14. I've been debating about whether to get the 2D or 3D Toy Story trilogy. I'm leaning toward 3D because if I ever want to watch it in 2D my TV lets me just turn off the 3D effect (basically it only displays the right eye rather than both eyes).
  15. Heels over head makes a lot more sense. I mean, generally speaking your head is supposed to be over your heels.
  16. That sounds like how we'd say "ass over ankles". Just a more colorful way of saying head over heels.
  17. I held it with my palms for the longest time until my wife of all people corrected me. I grew up with an NES, Genesis, and SNES, but I didn't get a PS2 until 2008 so by then I'd already had 12 years of training to hold it with my palms on the N64, Xbox and 360. I had had a PS1 previously, but that was a long time ago and I'm guessing back then my hands were small enough that it wasn't a big deal (that and far fewer games on the PS1 used analog sticks, I didn't even have a controller that had them). I was so happy after she told me how to hold it right though, because until then I couldn't play PS2 games for more than about an hour before it really started hurting my wrists.
  18. Well like people were saying earlier EA's given itself such a bad rep recently with bullshit bans that now people are willing to believe just about anything is possible from them. Trolls are going to capitalize on that, cause that's just what trolls do.
  19. Just beat Skyrim. 76 hours in. Consider it "beat" now that I've finished the Dovahkiin and the civil war quest chains, though I still haven't done anywhere close to everything.
  20. I'm not sure if it will work as an analog stick or not. I think so, but I haven't tried it with a game like that yet.
  21. Well hello, and how are you doin?
