Yeah, I would like some higher-res textures. For the most part I think the models are fine though (with some exceptions).

See, I actually kind of like this, because it means I can run everything on highest detail settings at 1920x1080 with 16xQ CSAA and 16x AF. I loves me some antialiasing and filtering.

From reading that article, it sounds like the partner doesn't actually highlight specific things you missed, just that you probably missed something. "I think we missed something" is a lot different from "We need to be sure to check under the victim's fingernails." It also says "eventually your partner will say..." which makes it sound to me like he won't even necessarily say something before you leave the crime scene, it might be several investigative steps later when it becomes apparent you're missing a piece of the puzzle.

lol, this picture makes it look like those controllers are supposed to be jammed into your eyes. I love it. I'm skeptical about dean's claim that Nintendo won't make it to Gen 9. However, I do think they'll have more trouble this time around since the Wii 2 (or whatever they call it) will basically just be a PS3 with Move. Sure they supposedly have screens on the controllers, but I think those will end up like the speaker on the Wii's controller: gimmicky and annoying.

You can't skip cases, you can only skip "action sequences" like shootouts, car chases, etc. And even then only after you've failed several times. Honestly that's not surprising to me. When a product like that first launches most of the games that are going to be coming out in the near future shoot for the launch window, so then there's kind of a dropoff after the launch window. I imagine it will pick back up somewhat in the next few months.
