Well the rarity of the starters is easy to get around as long as you have two, you just restart one of them a couple of times and trade the starters back and forth.
I never do online achievements either. I have actually chosen not to buy games on the basis that they have online achievements, because I hate them so much.
I know that this isn't technically about "Achievements", but I am damn proud of this:
The 100% score, but even more particularly the Mile High Club achievement.
I'm still thinking of importing it once we can confirm that there's at least English subtitles on the disc, unless they announce a US release in the semi-near future.
I've never actually played any of these games before, but I bought Europa Universalis III on a Steam sale, so maybe I should bump that to the top of my list.
