  1. IIRC, Extraction requires the Move, you can't play it with the regular DS3.
  2. Maybe you snooty east-coasters use "moulding" for the trim, but around here we leave out the u no matter what kind it is.
  3. GTA IV and MW2 are both pretty controversial, I'm not sure they meet the "everyone else seems to like" criterion.
  4. Hey dean, you left the "u" out of "molding". But yeah, bottom is baseboard, middle is chair rail (though those are really rare, at least around here), top is molding.
  5. I liked the ideas behind a lot of the stuff they did in Fable III, but the presentation is so simplistic/shallow that it just isn't compelling to me. Fable II is far and away my favorite Fable game, Fable III is my least favorite.
  6. I don't even really consider Portal a shooter, it's really more akin to puzzle games than shooters. As for the Bungie thing, they're not actually owned by Activision so they have some protection there, and IIRC they just have a contract to let Activision publish up to 3 games in their new IP, but Bungie will still own the IP itself. Also IIRC, it's not an entirely exclusive contract, they can still make games for other publishers, Activision just has the publishing rights to 3 games on a single IP.
  7. Treyarch is the collective Anti-Christ. Black Ops was pretty good, I'll give them that, but it was the first Treyarch CoD game that actually felt like a CoD game to me. I probably would have liked CoD 3 and W@W if they'd been marketed under a different brand.
  8. I agree, but yesterday I got 240 XBL points through the rewards program, and the other 960 I got from a card I ordered for 20% off, so it actually only cost me $10.
  9. An unnamed source has revealed to me Activision's plan: 24 CoD studios, monthly releases.
  10. But having multiple saves wouldn't affect that, you'd still have to have two games, unless they made it so you could trade between your different save files.
  11. To be fair, I didn't know that it locked on to targets when you looked down the sights, so I never used the LT-RT method. I did it the way you're supposed to.
  12. So, who else is excited for L.A. Noire? The more I see about it the cooler it looks. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gameplay-series-l-a-noire/710342 I'm especially intrigued by the investigation aspects of the game, and the fact that you'll need to attempt to tell when the characters are lying. DISCUSS!
  13. Well the rarity of the starters is easy to get around as long as you have two, you just restart one of them a couple of times and trade the starters back and forth.
  14. Only Infinity Ward stayed away from online achievements, Treyarch is all about them.
  15. I never do online achievements either. I have actually chosen not to buy games on the basis that they have online achievements, because I hate them so much.
  16. Jesus Christ, who would ever pay that much? Even the sale price is ludicrous.
  17. I know that this isn't technically about "Achievements", but I am damn proud of this: The 100% score, but even more particularly the Mile High Club achievement.
  18. Fans are real weapons IRL though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korean_fighting_fan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_war_fan
  19. Do those games still only allow one save file?
