  1. I never said you cared too much, just that you seem to care more than I would have expected from someone who isn't directly affected by it. I never even said that was a bad thing, just that I was surprised. Calm down.
  2. How has the snow been melting if it's so cold?
  3. GoWIII is pretty streamlined, there are a few puzzles, but nothing terrible, and they actually fit in with the story very nicely. You should really play it, it's fantastic. So what you're saying is, the reduced the number of puzzles? AKA reduced the only aspect of the game I might have enjoyed?
  4. Well here's mine: Green means I beat it, or if that term isn't appropriate, then I played it a lot. Multiple dots means I played it into the ground. Orange means I played it quite a bit, but never actually beat it. Yellow means I played it some. Blue means I played it on a console. There were some very noticeable omissions from this list. Like where the hell is Shogun: Total War?
  5. I agree. I don't really like FLUDD all that much, but really it was just as much fun as any other 3D Mario.
  6. So you seek out spoilers before playing the game? You must love the Super Spoilers thread then.
  7. Well, couldn't you just as easily ask why someone would "care enough" to purchase a collector's edition over a standard edition, period? People purchase collector's editions because they like the extra content and memorabilia. If he purchased a standard edition of the game at launch and really enjoyed it, then why is it so unusual that he would purchase a collector's edition for the OST, "making" DVD, artbook, and other stuff at a later date? Those incentives still retain their value. Their value isn't limited to the standalone value of the game itself. Right, my question is: if you want that stuff, why not just buy the collector's/limited edition right off the bat. Or, if for whatever reason you don't (too expensive or whatever) why keep the regular edition after you've bought the collectors?
  8. I liked Prototype a lot, and I didn't think the twist was stupid. Also, why do you always know the end of games before you play them?
  9. Socks all the way. Course I have bad circulation in my toes, so my feet will be cold even if it's like 80 F in the house.
  10. Yeah, I knew they were different editions, I just couldn't imagine why anyone would buy more than one. Now that I have some reasons, I must admit I'm still somewhat surprised that someone would care enough to do that.
  11. All of that would lead me to expect you to care about this much: Your next paragraph explains why you care more than that, though.
  12. Here are my 360 games: My PS3, Wii, and GCN games, and my blurays: And finally my PC games : Why do you have multiple copies of each game?
  13. This thread contains posts split from HERE. While I agree with you that it's strange and/or stupid, I must ask: why do you care? You're not Japanese. It seems like the extent of your Care would be "huh, that's weird, and kinda dumb."
  14. Do people still say that? I had to sit there for a few seconds trying to figure out wtf you meant before realizing you were referring to the time. All I could think of was the Borg.
  15. Packing stuff up to leave my parents' tomorrow, might be the last time I post until tomorrow night.

Not if my pirate plundering crews get there first.

...assuming this is all taking place near a large body of water.

      Ninjas always beat pirates. Always.

  16. Exactly. The video is entitled "Heinz Automato 4." The bottle in the video is Heinz Tomato Ketchup. Therefore, the title of the thread is correct.
  17. But the brand is "Heinz Tomato Ketchup." *Edit* -
  18. Yay snow! About 3 inches overnight.
  19. Apparently my WoW account got hacked.

My two housemates have been hacked in the past year. Not Gawker users. Just mostly dodgy mods. Oh apart from ben who just uses/used same password for everything :/

I don't play WoW, but a friend's account who hasn't played in ages just said the same thing today. I doubt he was on Gawker though, so might be unrelated. Either way, different passwords sounds good.

Yeah, I changed most of my passwords after the Gawker thing, but for some reason I didn't think about my WoW account. I even fucking changed my Pirates of the Burning Sea password.

Shouldn't happen again though as soon as I get my authenticator.

  20. Okay, so that hypothetical doesn't work. Regardless, the core of my point is that as long as whatever I get on the disc for the purchase price is a complete, satisfactory game, then I'm happy. Anything else is extra, regardless of when it was created. Sure, it would be nice for them to put more stuff in the game, or release extra content for free after launch, but I don't feel that it's wrong of them not to.
  21. Yeah, I agree. Like I said, content on the disc that you have to pay to unlock is very shady. I just listed that as one of the factors, not an all-encompassing criterion. Anything that makes it seem like they've removed or held back content that would have/should have been in the game proper in a world without DLC is a factor. I didn't list everything. I wasn't talking about things that were developed concurrently and then missed the deadline. I'm saying they finish the game, and send it to the presses. THEN they start working on the DLC. AFTER the game is done. It's just that they get it finished before the game actually hits store shelves.
