  1. Basically I believe it's status is "canon except where it conflicts with the games." *Edit* - Halopedia seems to agree with me: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Halopedia:Canon_Policy#Superior_Canon
  2. Yeah, only the games are truly canon. Even the books, some of which were written by Bungie employees, aren't truly canon.
  3. "Are you capable of rational thought?!" lmao
  4. I disagree, as stated in my previous post.
  5. Well, PS3 is not in fact region locked, so if there is no US release then we can import it (assuming it has either English audio or subtitles on the Japanese disc). This would be the first game I'd cared enough to import.
  6. But if the store's obsolete then you can't do the multiplayer anyway, so it's kind of a moot point. Or do the online passes also apply to local/LAN multi? If so, that's BS.
  7. Then Halo Legends must be wrong. I submit this as evidence. Skip to 1:05. *Edit* - For some reason the video takes a while to show up, not sure why.
  8. Halo series generally, but specifically Halo 3:
  9. I submit "flammable" and "inflammable".
  10. Please elaborate on how you managed to drop an NES in 25 feet of water.
  11. Honestly, I find sitting in a good office-type chair more comfortable than sitting on a couch. But that's just me. Also, I'm always sitting upright (well, slouch) when I play games. I never lay down or anything like that. I just can't play effectively from that kind of a position.
  12. I bought AC:B on console for the same reason that you got AC2, and I probably wouldn't have bought Spore if I'd known about the DRM ahead of time. The Online Pass system doesn't bother me at all, for the reasons you listed: if I'm gonna play multiplayer then I'm probably going to buy new. On top of that, I don't play multiplayer very much, so I really don't care if they restrict my progression (though it might bother me if they locked me out entirely).
  13. Yeah, I'm not sure why it surprised you FLD, it's basically exactly what I was expecting based on earlier stuff. I'm very much interested, and am hoping for a US release. PS3's aren't region-locked, are they?
  14. Has anyone played Hydrophobia since that huge update? If so, is it worth it now?
  15. 2, 3, Reach, 1. I'm not counting the online, just sp. If I add in ODST, it goes to: 2, ODST, 3, Reach, 1. I liked Reach, but it was really on its own. I really wanted it to be a blatant book copy, and it wasn't. I like it, but mainly for the online (which I like best out of the series). It's a very hard question to answer. Yeah, I was ranking them based just on the campaign too. I'm not that big into multiplayer games, though.
  16. The ME2 box is hand-drawn/painted, and the foreshortening is terribad. Look at Miranda's arm, or the gun Shepard is holding. The content of the picture isn't awful, but it's really poorly executed.
  17. I think the ME2 one is pretty bad just because the art is so awful. The foreshortening is just terrible. The Heavy Rain one is bad because of the retarded expressions on their faces, and in that it compares so poorly to the European box art:
  18. I would rank the Halo games as follows: Reach > 3 > 1 > 2 (just personal preference, I'm not trying to state objectively which is better) I can't figure out where I'd put ODST, just cause it's different enough from the others.
  19. So I beat 3D Dot Game Heroes last night. Haven't decided what's up next. I'm leaning toward Shadow Complex, I think.
