  1. The deals have been balls almost every day. I'm eying Europa Universalis III though. Has anyone played it? I need opinions.
  2. That would be why I can't quick-scope... I think I even turned it up from default. But then I play most games with higher sensitivity than most people do.
  3. They both have Live MP. Catan does not have local MP, which is stupid.
  4. Marked off Aliens vs. Predator. Again, eh. Probably doesn't help that I made the mistake of getting it on the PS3 though.
  5. They took all the things about Burnout that I loved, and threw them out the window.
  6. Super Mario Bros 3. Got it with my NES. I was like... 3 or so at the time. My parents had no idea what they were creating.
  7. King Jimmeh, I am torn. You put San Andreas back on, which I appreciate, but you took off Paradise, which I do not appreciate. We are now frenemies.
  8. I am keeping a close eye on this game. I hope we get a localization.
  9. Oh yeah, I enjoyed SMG quite a bit, just thought that it was too easy.
  10. Halo 2: on Legendary, if one person dies it resets you to the checkpoint. Halo 1/3/Reach: If one person dies they wait to respawn until (one of) the still-living person (people) can get to safety. If (all) the still-living person (people) die(s) before that happens, it resets to the checkpoint. Halo 3/Reach: If you turn Iron Skull on, if one person dies it resets you to the checkpoint, if everyone dies at the same time it resets you to the beginning of the level.
  11. I actually like SMS, even though FLUDD was stupid and irritating. SMG was just too easy.
  12. D-K, it felt small because in order to have that many cities and villages, each one had to be tiny. It was like being in the middle-of-fucking-nowhere, Kansas, just with tall buildings in the tiny-ass podunk towns.
  13. Everything felt too small in SA. I know the map was huge (for the time), but instead of it being a huge city, it was several tiny-ass cities, spread way apart. Also, fuck the gang territories mechanic in the ass with a serrated dildo.
  14. Out of curiosity, Pheer, what did you think of the Legendary coop thing from Halo 2, where if either one of you dies it resets you to the checkpoint, rather than requiring you to both die?
  15. 10. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 9. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas 8. Super Mario Galaxy 7. Gears of War 6. Street Fighter 4 5. StarCraft II 4. Uncharted 2 3. Burnout Paradise 2. God of War 1. COD: Black Ops Sorry, Hot Chops, but in terms of fun San Andreas was a step backward for the series. *Edit* - Crap, Jack got in before me. Now I have to rejigger my list... *Edit2* - That was hard, I wasn't too unhappy with the list as it was.
  16. I beat the game singleplayer Legendary. Thought it was great fun. Protip: use plasma weapons on their shields. yeah I know about the plasma weapons but there is never enough ammo for it to be effective. I never had an issue with lack of plasma ammo. Well, only rarely. Yes, they buffed the shields compared to previous games, but I still don't think "plasma weapons are effective against shields, projectile weapons are effective against health" is fake-hard.
  17. Yeah, I always have everyone except my friends and party muted.
  18. I beat the game singleplayer Legendary. Thought it was great fun. Protip: use plasma weapons on their shields. *Edit* - I liked that it was harder. Halo 3 Legendary was too easy.
  19. QFMFT, and I don't even generally like multiplayer games. In addition to MNC, I would recommend, in no particular order: Limbo (My review) Risk: Factions (then play it with me) ilomilo (My review) Carcassonne *Edit* - Also Catan.
  20. Notable exception to this rule: Snipers. Assassin's should murder Snipers all goddamned day.
  21. Fake difficulty? I don't really care about multi, so I wouldn't notice imbalance there. Love Firefight though.
