Logitech G500. Bought it a couple weeks ago. Like Dean's, it has adjustable weights. I got it because as I got back into PC gaming more I started to encounter games that had more functions than I could comfortably/quickly use on the keyboard, and this mouse has 3 thumb buttons which are fantastic for that. Also can store 5 user-set sensitivities, so I can adjust it for different tasks.

Well honestly, stuff you're giving to other people could just go in the post your purchases thread, since you purchased it...

The thing with it marking all of them as read has happened to me I think twice. I was having a lot of problems with the unread stuff not working right when the forum was brand new, but it seems to have quit happening over the last week or so.

That's funny, it definitely gave me my Zelda fix. @McFlufferton: I paid $45 for the 360 version, and was not disappointed. $10 would definitely be worth it, especially if it works with a game pad.

When a game's cutscenes are in-engine, but for some reason instead of showing them in real-time they have them prerendered anyway. Seriously, why would you do that? It just makes the cutscenes look worse cause they have compression artifacts and shit. Enslaved did it, but it's even more noticeable in Batman: AA (both games I've been playing this week). In Batman it's like they smeared vaseline all over the digital lens before recording the cutscenes.

They ruled that gamers do not own their games, they merely license them (provided that the EULA is written properly). If it's just a license, then the publisher, as the licensor, can write into the license that it is nontransferable, which means I can't sell the game to another person.

There were times in Dead Space when I didn't want to enter the next area cause I knew something horrible would happen to me. But yeah, I get what you mean, I was more scared of what was going to happen to me than actually scared of the necromorphs in and of themselves.

Oh, no, I did that. I don't remember what was so special about it though, except that you get the ray of life or whatever (which has limited uses, wtf is that about?!).

If you only own a license then you have no right to transfer that license. Use game sales become illegal if the publishers decide that's what they want.

The first one wasn't psychologically scary, but I was tense the whole fucking time. They did a good job of making sure you never quite felt safe. Like... I know I'm probably safe, but I can't ever let my guard down, because the instant I do they're going to fuck me over.

Voices don't play in the single-player. Luckily it didn't manifest until after I'd beat the story, so all I missed out on was a little bit of talking in the Truth artifact things, but at least I had subtitles.
