  1. I agree with every word of this. I also in general hate achievements that I don't have direct control over, and often multiplayer achievements are of that nature.
  2. Yeah, that's my experience with Walmart clothes: good for the price, but not "good". Just as a general rule, obviously any particular item can be better or worse.
  3. @Jack: Never. But just because I don't notice that things are missing doesn't mean it wouldn't have been better with more resources devoted to it. @Rad: GODDAMN I HATE MULTIPLAYER ACHIEVEMENTS!
  4. But it's still resources (money) being devoted to multi instead of single. And I often don't like it when they're different teams, because it gives the two modes completely different feels. Essentially then it's two entirely different games, a multi and a single, with the same name just slapped on both.
  5. I prefer singleplayer most of the time, with few exceptions. And Jack, the reason I don't like multiplayer being added to singleplayer games (when it doesn't seem necessary) is because even though I can just not play it, it's still time and effort and resources that the dev spent on multiplayer instead of singleplayer.
  6. Too many, and also not enough. I'll update with the full count once I care enough to compile it.
  7. This is awesome. The code should be either or :hurry-up: *Edit* - Wait, I can add it, I have THE POWAH! *Edit2* - SUCCESS!
  8. Well there you have it. Now I'm considering getting one.
  9. Yeah, yesterday was a second chance at their most popular sales from earlier in the week.
  10. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I missed the part where it was a gift for Yant. But now we can verify! Yant, is it crappy or is it nice and just surprisingly cheap?
  11. Has anyone else been as underwhelmed by this year's Christmas sale as I have?
  12. I haven't played it yet, but I'm planning to. I'd been following the game very closely until it released and I heard how flawed it was. I'm glad to see they addressed at least some of the problems.
  13. People have pointed out that it's Walmart, but I don't think that accounts for all of the price disparity. I still would have expected it to be like $25. But even before the sale that one was $17. *Edit* - Also Smooves, it's probably really really crappy in terms of quality/warmth/etc.
  14. Smooves, that's not a normal American price. I would expect to pay $40-$50 for a decent hoodie usually. I'm just as shocked at how cheap that one is as you are.
  15. I liked the first Fuzion Frenzy a lot. My friends and I were all completely addicted to Twisted System.
  16. I didn't notice him saying it either. But that doesn't mean that he didn't say it. Sometimes I miss really obvious things.
  17. Legend of Zelda: OoT Legend of Zelda: TP I know they *have* collectibles and things, but I never really went out of my way to try to find them.
  18. You speak vile lies. Reach > 3 > 2 > 1. I'm not sure where I'd put ODST. I liked it a lot, but it was also pretty different, so I don't really feel like it should be directly compared like that.
  19. I thought her syntax was pretty clear, especially given the context. Namely, talking about what to do if you have two gamer people in the house. If she doesn't have a gamer significant other then putting a TV in the bedroom is irrelevant because that was only suggested as a solution to having to share the living room TV.
  20. Brida: My solution is one of these and then hooking the console up to my computer monitor. Never have to fight over the TV. And honestly I'd rather play on a 23-inch 1080p monitor that I sit 3 feet away from than on a 50-inch 1080p TV that I sit 12 feet away from.
  21. I am indifferent toward facebook. I almost never use it myself, but I don't hold a deep hatred for it.
  22. @Aqua: He said astrology. Astronomy is a science studying about galaxies and stars and planets and whatnot. Astrology is like horoscopes and that stuff.
  23. I agree whole-heartedly. I don't mind people in general who are religious as long as they don't try to force it on me, but I couldn't ever be with anyone who was religious. It's not the actual belief itself that would bother me, but what it would say about her personality.
  24. Yeah, they don't have to enjoy it themselves, but they do have to accept that it's something I want to do.
  25. Because they're just video games? You should care about your significant other more than games. This. I'm not going to stop playing games as a hobby just because she doesn't like it, and I'm not going to put up with her whining about it either.
