Based on what's known now there's no way the Senate would actually remove him from office, so the only reason for impeachment at this point would be to appease Democratic voters. Whether that would do more harm than good for the Democratic party is anyone's guess. That could conceivably change if more information comes out, but based on how blindly loyal the Republicans have been it would have to be something pretty fucking horrifying.

The director has now said they're going to be changing the design. I'm just shocked this design made it as far as it did. How did even one person look at that and think it was okay, let alone the entire teams that must have worked on this?

I liked China, but didn't like India as much (in fact I quit playing partway through). I never played Russia because of India, even though I own it. Glad you liked them, I just find it interesting how different people's tastes can play out like that.

Epic ended the Siphon mechanic because even though it made the game better for top players, it made the game worse for the bottom 90%. With how often I see games catering to the top players in ways that make the game less fun for everyone else *cough*Destiny*cough*, I would love to see more developers taking this approach.

My thoughts As far as American audiences being loud, it must be a regional thing. I have never been to a fancy theater, only big chain theaters, and I've never been in a movie where people were whooping and hollering and otherwise being loud. Very rarely there will be one person being kind of obnoxious, but I've never seen it like GOH's describing. The closest it's ever gotten was Black Panther, and when I saw that the theater was packed and there were maybe 5-6 people getting loud. I didn't begrudge them that in that movie though, because I know it had larger cultural import. Aside from that, the only time audiences really make noise is laughter, and it's got to be really fucking funny before people laugh loud enough for it to really be noticeable.

I'm not interested in buying that game, but I'd totally take it as a gift.

"Should" have, but they didn't bother to actually build up the characters before trying to make an ensemble one, so of course it's not a huge spike. My point is just that it's not doing terrible, and they could probably salvage it if they were willing to actually try. Of course, I say that, but I guess there's probably a hard limit on how well it can do since the MCU has sucked all the air out of the room. I know personally even if the DCEU got good I wouldn't watch it just because it's too much to try to keep up with that on top of the MCU.

My only real prediction is somewhat general: I'm hoping to go see it Friday afternoon, depends on how long my morning court hearing runs.

Something interesting to me that that graph points out is that people talk about how bad the DCEU is doing, but the bump from each movie is about the same size as the bump from all but the biggest of the Marvel movies. It's even close to where the MCU was after the same number of movies.

I'm pretty sure I at one point claimed I'd wait for a Pro version of the next gen consoles, but now that one is on the horizon I'm discovering that I am a dirty, dirty liar.

Star Wars: Battlefront II I beat both the main campaign and the mini add-on campaign. It was decent, definitely worth the $5 I paid for it, but I don't expect to probably ever pick it up again.

I kind of do too, but if it launches next fall that'll be 7 years, which is the same as last gen (which was an unprecedentedly long generation at that point).
