  1. I edited after I realized you made the same reference, but a different joke with it. So ignoring my original comment, +1 for the reference good sir
  2. If anyone could do it, it would be Mr. GOH. I figure the status box is close enough
  3. I just went and bought Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising for $18. The game interested me when it came out but I just don't have the money to buy more then a couple of games new each year. Nice to see you signed up here! I'll try not to confuse the status box with the search box.
  4. I've heard as much which is why I never watched it Still have the books on my shelf and love to read them from time to time, though. This reminds me I should add a signature here too, might just use my one from another forum cause it was made by someone way better at sigs than me
  5. Hi. I was RadiantViper on Kotaku. ... That's about it. I will probably be here a fair amount so feel free to strike up a conversation and what not
  6. I hugely appreciate all the replies, just saved all these names in text file so I can remember and start watching some of them. Thanks a ton!
  7. I played through the first 7 times. The second ... twice. Not nearly as replayable IMO.
  8. Soldier was my favourite in ME1. People said soldiers were boring but I dunno, I just felt instead of the 'futuristic super powers' feeling that biotics game you, soldier gave you a 'futuristic combat soldier' feeling which was still awesome. I'm excited for ME3 but for me the second was a step backwards in many areas, mainly things like skills and weapons/armour. I'm not holding my breath, but if they can fuse the polish of 2 with the expanded mechanics of 1, 3 could turn out really great.
  9. Hahaha, I just rewatched that a week ago so I totally read that in his voice
  10. I don't really even know what anime genres typically consist of so I'm not sure. As you can see I liked Chobits so I could always start there. In general I would probably enjoy something cute/fun (so no action or fighting series), not overly sentimental and with a good pace so I don't get bored. Sorry I can't be more helpful, there's just so much in anime that it all kinda goes over my head. Honestly any suggestions you think are good would be very appreciated, cause then I can 'dip my toes' so to speak, and go from there
  11. I have always wanted to get into anime but I have no idea where to even start. Any suggestions for a newcomer?
  12. I find the Bag of Spilling annoying from a continuity point of view ... but honestly, I would find playing a sequel already super-powered would be boring. It's fun finding the stuff again since it adds to exploration and all that. Also, http://www.kdingo.net/champ/pics/main.php?g2_itemId=9337
  13. Mostly just TR9. ME3 a bit but I'm wary it'll keep going the same direction as 2 and I'll be mildly disappointed again. DA2 also a little bit, first was good but nothing amazing IMO (maybe it was just all the mediocre DLC that left me bitter). And if this new engine turns out to not be a piece of crap, Elder Scrolls 5.
  14. This x1000. That new design is just so very awful. I've seen a few posts about it in the last few days ... and that's why I'm here
  15. No I'm not a girl ... I just wanted to use the Lara Croft outfit from beating Guardian of Light. I also have the ilomilo prop, it's pretty awesome.
  16. I always think of these things when I'm playing but forget them later ... One off the top of my head is horrible checkpoint systems. I'm not on the side of people who say every game should let you save everywhere since that ruins the challenge/exploration of a lot of games, so I think in general just more checkpoints are in order. No one likes playing the same section they've mastered 40 times just to always get to the next impossible section and fail.
