Dude, I fucking love Hero, and I'm the furthest thing from "liberal Hollywood" that you'll find. Hero just kicks ass. Not like the 2 hour wankfest that was Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. That movie wanted so badly to be mysterious and have so much deeper meaning, but it was just pure dick-stroking the whole time. God that movie sucks. But yes, Sunshine and Moon are both incredible. For the Fighting genre I would recommend Old Boy, but it also has some themes that I think you would appreciate, D-K. For Anime, I know I've said this enough, but How To Train Your Dragon is incredible. I'll add more if I think of some.

Oh God (pun?) Yarf, that may be the best thing ever. And I actually believe in God and all the bizz... Gyaruson is the phonetic pronunciation of the word "boy" in Japanese, I think. So, if you're ever in Japan and you need to identify a small child, yell my username at him. He'll get the gist of it. God I hope there's no one on these boards who speaks Japanese and is all like, "Dude, that means vagina," because I have no way to verify my findings.

Things you'd like to see or do in Mass Effect

This. When you've put 200 hours into the game like I have, you've basically already picked every option available. Yeah, I put over 100 hours into the game, and somehow managed to never complete a full Renegade playthrough with my evil character from ME1. I really don't know what I was thinking. I just started yesterday and I'm already at 15+ hours with the character. I positive I'm going to try to let as many of them die as possible. I'll create a unique game save after I search the derelict Reaper, and then if I end up dying because of non-loyal teammates, I'll make the necessary changes. I'm really curious to see how the games will differ once ME3 hits. Having the disparity of two whole games has to be pretty drastic. I'm not jealous of the work Bioware has ahead of them to create so many unique possibilities.

Shouldn't diss slimes.

I did a really quick playthrough for achievements, and every one of my squadmates died, but Joker and I survived. So I know that having all your team die doesn't necessarily mean that Shepard dies too. I'm surprised you don't break off his entire upper body when he tries to pull you up and you both plummet to your death the end I know. His fragile little shin bones lasted just long enough, I guess.

As someone who lives in Nebraska, I don't know whether I should be offended or insulted. The Elcor are awesome, so does that mean you think Nebraska is awesome? Elcor: "Annoyed. The women doth protest too much?" That is totes going to be my sig. -

While I totes agree that all the squadmates are awesome, I have already saved them all with my Paragon playthrough. That's MY playthrough, where I respond like I would IRL. This is my "let's be an evil succubus" playthrough where I douche as many people as possible. I figure since I already saved everyone in my proper playthrough, I should kill everyone in my she-bitch playthrough. Plus, I think if you let everyone die, Joker is still alive to pull you up onto the ship, but then he gets shot once you're up. So you are still the only one on the ship. I think that's how it works anyways. I think I'm gonna let them all burn, just for maximum disparity between my game saves.

No, they're mono-gendered. http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Asari Right, there ya go. I knew it was something like that. And it's pronounced EDI. It stands for Enhanced Defense Intelligence. -
So, I've done everything there is to do in Mass Effect 2.... as a good guy. I realized the other day that I never had a complete playthrough as my evil lady-Shep. So, I'm playing through when I have an epiphany: should I save my crew at the end? I've never really considered this. If I save them, I'll have pretty close to the same game is my good dude-Shep. But if they all die, I'll be all alone - which might be fun. I dunno. I need some suggestions. The main difference between my two characters is: - Good Shep 1) Council saved (nominated Anderson) 2) Wrex saved 3) Rachni saved 4) Ashley lives 5) Got it on with Ashley - Bad Shep 1) Council died (nominated Udina) 2) Wrex is dead 3) Rachni are dead 4) Kaidan lived 5) Got it on with Liara So, as you can see, if I choose to let my team live with evil lady-Shep, that will remain to be the only difference. What should I do? Also, if you picked "Be selective" tell me who should live and who should die.

Who is Edit? Do you mean EDI, the ships' AI? -

Asari aren't all female, there just is no dominant gender. I think they're kind of like seahorses. I dunno, might be wrong. - I'd love to pilot the Normandy. After playing through the space missions in Halo Reach, I think that something similar to that (only with the Normandy) would be incredible. - Bring back looting - Be able to land on every planet, even if there's "nothing" to do on it. 1) I think that being able to land on every planet would be a much better alternative to planet scanning for materials. Like, let us land and take the Hammerhead (or whatever that thing was called) and let us look for minerals ourselves. Give us some type of hot/cold radar system, plus some obstacles and things to shoot at to pass time. Bioware could also really reward players who do a lot of exploring with some awesome loot. - I'd like to see Earth, but I know this is coming. - The ability to land on planets within our solar system. Like, Jupiter, Saturn, etc. - Less Vorcha, they are just dumb - Less squad-building crap. I saved my entire squad in ME2, so I better not have to build a new squad for ME3. - Continue the level building system established in ME2. The cap was 30, so the cap in ME3 with your same character better be 60. That's about it for now. -
I don't know if this has been mentioned (didn't feel like reading through 17 pages, forgive me) but is there a way for the forum to not automatically hyperlink a URL? When I tried to upload a YouTube video, it turned my link into a URL and effed up the whole thing. I had to edit it four times just to get it right. Also, does the [ media ] tag qualify for everything picture or video related?

Oh yeah, the plot was a little hard to follow at times, and the dialogue was down-right laughable most of the time ("Hope you can swim!" as he shoots someone into the water) but the film itself was very, very well-made and entertaining. I still can't get over how good it looked. Was kind of disappointed by the minimal use of 3D, though. And I'm not even a fan of 3D.

Where did all these new people come from? What I mean is, how by switching forums did we gain so many new people? I very much approve of getting new users, I was just curious. Oh, and you all are the sexiest bunch of people I have ever seen. Fact. /totalhomo

I can't think of a game that has made me cry, or even come close. I think Metal Gear Solid 4 was the closest when you go back to Shadow Moses and you can crawl in that cave and hear "The Best Is Yet To Come". That was pretty awesome, but not tear-inducing. I cry at every Pixar movie, but not shed actual tears. My eyes get all misty though.
