I didn't like the second one, purely because it made Shia LeBouf look like a dick. What made the first one so great was that it was a story about a young kid and his car. All he wanted was his car, and then when it happened to be a giant fucking robot, that didn't stop him from caring for it and looking out for it. In the sequel Sam is all like, "This ain't my war. I've got shit to do." and it sucks. Plus the fact that they added so many damn robots that it's damn-near impossible to keep track, and when one dies you have almost no attachment to it whatsoever because you never saw it. When Jazz died in the first one, you felt bad. You liked Jazz. There are too many robots to care about all of them. Also, racist robots blow balls. Now, on to the topic at hand. The trailer was awesome. One of the things I loved about the first film was the whole "The Hoover Dam was built to hid the Cube" idea. I love when history gets integrated into modern themes. I think it's awesome. So, if they pursue the idea that the Apollo mission was really just to explore the crashed ship they detected, then I'm all for it. I can't wait for the film, but I'm not expecting it to be awesome. I too like awesome effects and explosions, and when that's what you want you can do no better than Michael Bay.

That Tree of Life trailer has been in my head for days. It's so simplistic, yet so moving. I can't quite put my finger on it. I can't wait until Black Swan comes to my city, and I'm seeing True Grit soon. The trailer for Paul made me chuckle, and it's directed by Greg Motolla (Superbad, Adventureland, a few episodes of Arrested Development) - plus Simon Pegg and Nick Frost should make it funny regardless. I have loads of props (and you can get the Alan Wake book by buying the collectors edition too), but the one I'm currently using is the Halo Scorpion. I have never, and will never, spend money on avatar items. But, if I was going to, I would probably buy this:

Currently going through my fifth or sixth play of Mass Effect 2. Also am working through Bayonetta for the first time. Work in some Fallout 3 and Rock Band 3 into the mix as well. Oh, and whatever I get for Christmas, for sure.

I totally agree with Ethan. I've been noticing it in Mass Effect 2 as well. Not all the time, but during some of the post-mission-breakdowns. That kind of sucks.

Good! I've been trying to figure out a time to see that with my dad. That movie looks like it was freaking made with him in mind. You and I typically have pretty similar taste in movies, Clown, so that make me happy.

I did my Insanity run and had every crew member other than Joker and myself die, so I know it's possible. For some reason, I didn't do it with my imported evil character from ME1. That's my fault.

You can't make him your biotic, nor can you send him through the vents. I was looking for those options. I want to kill everyone because I want to know what the game does in ME3 when you are purely on your own after the end of ME2. Like I said, I'm going for maximum disparity.

DAMMIT! I did everything possible to 1) Be a bitch, and 2) Kill everyone, and four crew members still survived! How is this possible? I swear doing Zaeed's loyalty mission fucked me over. By being a bitch, I inadvertently helped him complete his quest (kill his former friend at any cost). And then, every time I put him in the secondary fire team, they all survived. Freaking bullcrap! I reverted back to an old save, but for some reason I don't have a save that doesn't already have Zaeed as loyal. I think I may have screwed the pooch on this one... Any way that I can kill Zaeed with him being loyal?

Nice, hotty. I'm an aspiring filmmaker myself. With our powers combined!... Also, My Own Worst Enemy was actually a show. Like, in real life. It stared Christian Slater and aired on NBC. Got cancelled after 7 or 8 episodes. It was about this regular Joe White Collar who has this chip implanted in his head but doesn't know it. Whenever the chip activates, he turns into Johnny Secret Spy and goes on secret government missions. Super Spy knows about the fake life, so he returns to his "fake" home and they deactivate the chip and no one ever knows. But then his chip starts haywiring and normal guy starts waking up mid-mission. That was the first episode. Pretty interesting concept, too bad it got cancelled. Is yours anything like that?

And I hardly think that developers stray away from content just because of what a news outlet might say. Especially Bioware. I mean, whoever allowed the Medal of Honor team to get pushed around about the Taliban is a pussy. I would hope that since Bioware already did the gay romance thing in Dragon Age that they wouldn't stray from it in the future. Not that I'd use it. Although the option of an inter-species orgy would be nice. Oh! I want to get rejected. It always seems like everyone is fawning over Shepard.
