  1. I know what you're talking about, with having to whack the chocolate orange, Dean. I've never liked chocolate oranges, but my sister had an ungodly obsession with them back in her high school years. I also got this from my wife. It's silly, I know.
  2. I know what it is, but I just went recently so I will wait for more people to guess.
  3. Is that limited edition for Dead Space 2 PS3 only? I guess the real question should be, "Can I get the Plasma Cutter for my Xbox?" And yes, Jack, that was the last time they did that. Now they do two trade-ins from a special, high dollar list and you can get a game for twenty dollars! Such a ripoff.
  4. Awwww, man. That's a toughy. Probably the Super Nintendo, just because that's where my gaming sensibilities started kicking in and I was able to discern good games from crappy ones. Plus, it absolutely ruled the 3rd party realm back then. Portable would be GBA, no questions.
  5. I have every Metal Gear collectors edition, mostly for new numerous sealed copies of the Metal Gear Saga Vol 1 & 2. My Bioshock 1 collector's edition comes with that awesome Big Daddy statue, and mine wasn't even broken. So that's nice. Halo Reach had an awesome one too, and I was able to snag that for $45, so you can't go wrong there. I think my all-time favorite collector's edition has to be a toss up between my T rated Elder Scrolls IV collector's edition (that I got for free on launch day!), or my Mass Effect 2 collector's edition - just because of how hard they are to find. Sidenote: I was able to get Oblivion: CE for free on launch day because Gamestop was running a promotion where if you traded in any two Xbox 360 games, you got one for free. Doesn't matter the cost. So I ordered Perfect Dark Zero and Project Gotham Racing 3 from the Microsoft Retail Loyalty site for a grand total of $7, played them both for a week, then traded them in for Oblivion. Best. Decision. Ever.
  6. ......... It was ten dollars, okay?! My friend bought it for me as a joke present for my birthday, and we spent a few hours that not blasting through it - laughing the whole time. I haven't played it since. I SWEAR! I know..... I'm a horrible person. Well, I also thought that the point of this little game was to try and make it difficult for other people to guess the game. If I was wrong about that, then I apologize.
  7. I never noticed it either, and I always pick up on bad language (result of growing up Christian, I guess). Weird.
  8. Most games put you in a squad because without it, you would just be a one man killing machine and would kind of destroy reality. So, games like SOCOM, Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon put you in squads with dumb as shit AI teammates. Seriously, most squad-based stuff blows, unless it can be played in coop.
  9. I hate to say it Yante, but you may wanna consider alternative options with your current living arrangement. That shit be straight up unacceptable. Don't feel bad, over half of marriages end that way. It was almost bound to happen. For your health.
  10. Holy crap, going back to work is the worst thing ever. Sometimes, having days off really blows.

I know what you mean. I had a 4 day weekend and I did not want to do anything today.

  11. Exactly. I think the Coens are prime examples of classic American film making. Specifically films like No Country For Old Men and Fargo. Modern classics, the both of them.
  12. Hahaha, sorry guys. I got consultation from a friend of mine, and we both decided on Jumper. Congrats, Sick. Your move. Seriously though, how did you get it? Have you actually played it?
  13. The best use of Kinect I have seen thus far, is when the game doesn't translate your movement into on-screen action. Like, in Kinect Adventures you have to move your body in order to collect the letter 'A', but in Dance Central it's only judging your movements - not representing them. I don't think that any of the games that use the device to create a digital representation of yourself are any good, and that's precisely why. Hand tracking is pretty slick, so I have high hopes for Child of Eden. Also, the first game to successfully integrate Kinect and a controller will almost guarantee a sale from me.
  14. I've only played Dance Central (which I got on Black Friday for free by buying $25 worth of shit from Old Navy) and it's absolutely amazing. The fact that there are only 35 songs is kind of sad, but given the development time (and that I got it for free) I really don't care. The tech is absolutely amazing, it's just a bummer that there are so few games that weren't rushed - or designed to cash in on its newness. I haven't found an instance were space was an issue, and I'm 6' 6''. The sensor can always pick me up perfectly, even in my moderately sized living room.
  15. Says the guy who said that New Vegas (the game) was fun even with the glitches and crap? You and I both know that the "glaring flaws" in a Bethesda game are FAR outweighed by the bugs in Obsidian games. Show me an Obsidian game in the last decade, and I'll show you a near-unplayable mess. At least Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3 were functional. I would also be surprised if Bethesda was able to secure the new id tech. I would NOT be surprised if they were using a modified version of id tech 4, though.
  16. @Jack: Because I am placed under a very strict "No Purchases" rule after Thanksgiving. Also, when the milk is free... @Strife: I challenge you to a Dance Central dual. I've only owned it a few hours and I've already smoked almost everyone on my friend's list.
  17. Happy Festivus, err'body!
