Good games indeed. I might buy Classic Iori after the round robin part of this tourney because fuck Kim as a stand-in. Also, you losing it on voice chat was hilarious. Especially when Mai's aerial super landed.

First impression of Dark Souls isn't really something. Hope it picks up later, but whacking skeletons isn't really fun here.

It's not like Skyrim where there's significant story and environments to explore. No S-links to play with. No morality system (as such). It's main focus is the difficult, yet rewarding, combat.

Yea, I tried going somewhere else and I managed to murder the mobs in two hits... I do dislike the combat and take on difficulty. God Hand did a much better job at being enjoyably difficult.

If you're not into the combat then there's really no point in playing. And obviously, it starts out easy if you're going the right way.

I was away for the weekend and my brother (also my roommate) sent me a message saying how he'll "wash the dishes when he's back tomorrow". "Tomorrow" was 4 days ago and he still hasn't come back from his trip to his girlfriend's town. Like, seriously, when I came back home, the whole place looked like he had decided to leave the house for a few days and just walked out the door right that instant...

I would hardly call it cliche, just "nothing new". Which is fine. I'm more annoyed by the people who clamored it as new, rather than how the game handled the story (it handled it quite well).
