  1. the combat looks nothing like the first game at all. I actually prefer the first.
  2. This certainly describes part of my problem with TW2. The game seems completely uninterested in making me learn how to play it.

    TAY Podcast

Personally I think taking cues from EBC - in my opinion one of the most stale, predictable and overstructured podcasts in existance - is a remarkably bad idea. But that's just me
  4. I can't hear you over the sound of any chance of me buying Dirt 3 evaporating.
  5. Dragon Age 2 Assassin's Creed 2 Magicka uuuh... I rarely finish games.
  6. My first Zelda was Zelda, which I hold as the low point of the series (excluding those Phillips CD-i games)
  7. The thing is, I WANT to like it because I'm sure the writing will be good just like in the first game... But so far the combat has just been simultaneously mindless and frustrating. Maybe it gets better later on, but I'm running out of reasons to keep going and I'm still at the very start of the game.
  8. To start with, here are some comments I made to people over steam while playing through the start of the game: Does it get better? Because so far it's not even really an rpg, it's just a really sluggish and inaccurate action game. Every action I perform feels delayed and I'm experiencing a general lack of control over what Geralt does. At this point I'd rather play the first game because even though I felt it was a slow, grindy mess with a weird-ass combat system; at least I felt somewhat in control. I'm seriously quite confused here. Am I missing something?
  9. I'm pretty sure this is either counter-strike or... yeah it has to be counter-strike.
  10. I like that it lets you easily record and upload replays to youtube. Mind that this is footage only of the actual action; all the planning (which takes up 95-99% of the time) is left Here's two random matches I played recently.

    The Bucket List

As a swede, I second Gerbil's question. Swedish is a horribly boring and stale language.
  12. Frozen Synapse! Turn-based tactical multiplayer game. Plan your turn Position your units carefully Try out your plan Make sure to check for any weaknesses Perfect your plan Hit prime Lose the game in five seconds I love this game. It's currently in beta and you can pre-purchase to gain access. The price is at 17 pounds, 19 euros or 26 usd and if you pre-purchase you get an extra copy (and beta key). In case anyone else here plays it, I'm Janxer in-game. Hit me up for a match sometime.
  13. $9 for a keyboard? I think you need to hand over your PC gaming master race card. RIGHT NOW. Yes, well, quite, other than that most "gamers" that buy expensive keyboards just end up buying some 80-100 USD Razer or Logitech shit worth $15

    Keyboards

SteelSeries 6GV2: Mechanical keyboard with Cherry Black MX (non-clicky) switches. This is the only picture I managed to snap because my phone camera is terrible. I love it so far. My only gripe is the placement of the apostrophe button (visible in the picture to the left of Right Shift) and that the edge of the spacebar is a bit too sharp. I'll be remedying the latter with the use of some tape. Feels so smooth to type on :3 It cost me roughly 70 euros (690 sek) and can probably be found for cheaper outside of sweden. Look, I'm sorry, but if you paid over 30 usd for a silicone "gaming" keyboard you were ripped off. These piles of plastic cost next to nothing to produce and are built to have an impressive number of bulletpoints on the back of the box. These "impressive features" are then used as a justification for a retardedly high price tag. Profit margins woo! They are like the keyboard equivalent of McDonalds, only instead of being cheap and crap they are expensive and crap.
  15. But how does it compare to a Model M? I'm debating on getting a new Model M for work (one of those made by Unicomp (Linky Link Link) ) I have never used a Model M, so I can not compare. The Cherry MX Black is a linear switch though, and if I recall correctly most Model M's use a buckling spring? I've never used ANY buckling spring keyboards so I can't really say anything but my guess is that the feel would be pretty vastly different.

  17. Ignore the beard. The beard is terrible. The beard is going first thing after I've slept next time. I'd do it in now, but I don't trust myself with a sharp blade near my neck when I'm this tired. Also: I think I need a bit of a hair cut. It's getting to be a bit too long.
  18. That's really not too true. Sure, some games die out, but especially on PC most games retain a sufficient fanbase for many years.
  19. That review posted above was terrible. It mostly dealt with the lack or inclusion of certain features and hardly at all mentioned the core gameplay.
  20. I did this ages ago. I do not remember much of the result, but I do remember that it said my type had a sort of "silly switch" and sometimes acts drunk while sober. Which does fit me. I can go into full-on silly mode at times.
  21. Anyone want a up to 10 euro steam game for 6.80 usd/eur/gbp?

      @Ethan: Nope, no luck yet.

@Beefy: because... it's 13.80 if I buy it in sweden?
