  1. What the FUCK? ? Bizarre. It's bizarre. Anyhow! Onwards to Stardust Crusaders. I think I'll need some way other than Netflix to watch it. Speaking of Netflix, it has some censors. Mostly gore and the few Nazi salutes.
  2. What the hell is up with the current GPU market? For Nvidia, I get Ti but what is up with having Supers?
  3. Finally watching Jojo makes Dio Brando all the more interesting and perplexing. Dio first shows up with Jonathan Joestar but I know Dio eventually fight Jotaro Joestar with a modern-ish compactor roller (WRRRYYYYY) and of course stands so Dio at some point just have a massive power level spike. Jojo for sure have some pretty distinct power levels. It's not like more of the same.
  4. With confirmation of no EGS exclusive... I got MGSV with my 980ti so I guess I should get a GPU that comes bundled with Death Stranding. The jury is still out if I will like Death Stranding but it'll be a good excuse for an upgrade. It's not like I'm in good standings with MGSV either. Time to go researching again. It'll be almost five years so good enough... and the 980ti is still no slacker. And in 2021 is probably the start for a search for a newer CPU... and everything that goes with it. Or not. I think it's more crucial I look for a complete HDD reboot but I think at this point SDDs have more than proven themselves.
  5. With Outer Worlds out and about, maybe it's time for me to give New Vegas another shot... but being hounded by endless waves of enemies that were hunting for me got really old. I basically ran out of bullets.

It was the Caesars Legion. I forgot what I did to trigger them hunting me down. Funny thing is that I recall never running into them until they started to come after me. It wouldn't been bad if they weren't beelining to me.

I think if you're super good to the NCR it sort of makes them mad. Also if you steal from their "abandoned" camps it's a bit of a no-no even if no one sees you. Otherwise I think the main/first time you meet them is at the "lottery" (can't remember the town name). Probably mods to reduce their anger at you.

      @TheMightyEthan

I'd say I'm a fair way through on it and so far there's loads of bits closed off and sections only pop up to travel to once the missions are like "you can go to Roseway now" n such. Monarch is probably the most "open-world" it's gotten so far.

@deanb Yeah, after I posted that I played some more and am starting to realize how small the starting area really is, and so how constrained I am.

  6. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is bizarre but well paced for the most part. I currently got to part two... Seriously, I'm with Smokey, where did Joseph get that Tommy gun!? Well, onwards. I'm for sure enjoying this...
  7. So I finally started. I always loved this OP. So much energy! <===To Be Continued===
  8. It's the at least once yearly listen to Horror Show by Iced Earth! Have I been listening to this for like 15 years!

So, another kick of the can down the road, now to January 31st, 2020. Is this shit happening or not?
  10. We'll see if it is any good. The source material is fine and as expected of GRRM. I personally haven't gotten around to it because I am waiting for the cold embrace of the winds of winter... so I may dream of spring. Something I may only have access to the day I meet the one true god. I am still a bitter man regarding the later GoT seasons but... I'll hold on to some hope.

  12. Now that's a bro move to announce it before initial PS4 launch. I'm actually kind of occupied right now so I really appreciate this reprieve. Now the big question is if EGS will poach Death Stranding. STAY TUNED!
  13. The contents for and surrounding the Black Records are REAAAALY in your face. Like cutscene flashback you never seen before. Also, like wow, that person is important... I call hiding those stuff behind NG+ as a really bad mistake. A good deal of people don't have time for replays...
  14. @FLD Hey, if you (or anyone else on this ride) haven't then I recommend getting to the Black Records in CS2's NG+. Talk about a mini salvo of bombshells. You can watch it on YouTube if time is short, like for me. As for Crossbell stuff... They are here in CS3 but since I haven't played them yet, no bombshells for me. Minor details are peppered throughout, more so than say CS1/2. I remain blissfully unaware of what went down in Crossbell, especially the important details and how it relates to the story in Cold Steel. Those details should come up rather quickly though, considering the teaser at the beginning. A lot of things to think about, especially the grand unifying things between all of Trails. God, I really want to connect the dots but I'm missing games...
  15. I'd just go get water ice and dry ice from places unaffected by the PSPS which isn't hard since I'm on the boundary between affected and unaffected. I'm just really confused on what determines PG&E maps and their address lookups. It also isn't helpful that there's seemingly conflicting information from the same source!
  16. ... It doesn't take much to slowly rekindle the embers for my love for this series, does it? It may start off similar to the previous games but since it's with Rean... It's fine. God, someday they will get a movement system that doesn't suck... I still miss the Sky (and by extension the Crossbell) sprites...
  17. I'm lukewarm to the whole trilogy. It's enjoyable enough but it hamfisted itself in its reliance on the OT. It's really hard to ignore.
  18. What I'm dealing with right now. Basically I'll be going with the address lookup but I'm hair trigger on getting ice for the freezer and fridge.
  19. It's time for Cold Steel 3 for my game when I'm at home. This is going to take a while. Anyhow, kind of funny the game starts on my birthday. Also funny how it for sure have an oppressive feeling to it. This localization sure have a lot to live up to. Doesn't help I spotted a typo already but it's minor... HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE GOOD AND THAT IT REVIVES THE SERIES FOR ME SO I CAN GO CONQUER ZERO AND AO. Alternatively, my mobile away from home games will be FE Three Houses (truth be told, it's kind of a grind to start a third time) as a long burner and River City Girls. YEAAAAAAH!
  20. So I made the chile relleno I mentioned in the Youtube thread. I'll be making it again some other time (it's actually easy to do but it has some quirks) and I for sure going to continue using the sauce in other applications. Also my favorite part: I should really get an actual cast iron griddle or baking steel, that's thing is cast aluminum with a non-stick coating. The coating might die if I do this too much... of course I also got the option of just using an open flame...
  21. Oh no, you got a new (and potentially expensive) hobby. One that I kind of want to get into but I also want to head the other direction AKA microscope.

For the survivors (there will be survivors), this sorrow will turn into anger. There will be a good chance we will be dealing with one Kurdish faction or another in the future and we will do what we must to protect ourselves. Still, I rage at this thought and us Americans must never forget why the Kurds, from one of our best allies in the Middle East with boots on the ground, became our enemies. I really refuse to have another post-9/11 moment and Afghanistan...

It's sort of hard to compare how things would have gone down. Capturing El Chapo's son would've fallen under the likes of the DEA/FBI paired with local law enforcement. From the videos I have seen, the cartels would've ate them. Shit was approaching Mogadishu (Black Hawk Down) level of getting swarmed. While our law enforcement have militarized, they ain't the National Guard let alone the Army. With that said, I'm not sure if the National Guard (what I'd expect the next response would be) would've made it in time especially with their tanks and air assets. If the National Guard can't do it (be odd since they have been deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan), then It'd be a really bad day if the actual Army got sent in. Even worse day if the Marines came in because that means we want people dead. But yeah, enough what ifs from me. Still pretty embarrassing for the national government though since what I assume to be equivalent to the National Guard/Army was there and was the ones to capture El Chapo's son. Forced to shake hands (initiated by the cartel) for a ceasefire. Stay safe Metal.
