Sony's WH-1000XM3 active noise cancellation headphones. Got this for working at home or wherever that is noisy. It works really, really well. There would be silence if I didn't have tinnitus (really prominent in my right ear, playing something soft sounds like I am only having mono sound coming from the left can).

There is a lot to unpack about the protesters. It's kind of horrifyingly breathtaking. I mean, can you imagine being someone from Hong Kong? You are working your asses off to afford to live in one of the most expensive and crowded places on Earth. You have a tiny ass apartment that makes a rundown house in bumfuck nowhere seems like a mansion. Through really no fault of your own, got returned (without a fight) to China on some fucked temporary two system, one country bullshit. Your living situation made increasingly worse by a government (they never really tried to modernize the city in a meaningful way which allowed China to build up a competing city just across the border. Hell, it's almost like they're in cahoots!) that is increasingly and now blatantly pro-Beijing which represents almost the polar opposite to your ideals. And there is nowhere to run. Through legal, emotional and financial reasons, they are stuck in Hong Kong. I think I am only scratching the surface. I mean, there's little sympathy from the older folks in my family (who actually lived in Hong Kong) but I stand kind of differently. Like sure, there could be Western (CIA and MI6) influences but you bet your asses there is Chinese influences. "But they (Hong Kongers) are Chinese!". I mean, sure, on paper as much as Chinese-Taiwanese (Taiwanese has native folks) are Chinese. There is a very obvious divide between all three (HK, Taiwan and China) and I am far from sure that HK and China are compatible (like how Taiwan and China are... because holy hell, they are different). What is best for China might not be good for Hong Kong. Man... what a shit show. Note, I do not condone violence. I also wish that the killer (who sparked this whole mess) is brought to justice. Again, what a shit show. Communication blackout incoming. Then you kind of know what is going to happen. If China does it... it has shown that they have not changed AT ALL, in 30 years. They are the same demons from back then... and probably further in the past (Mao Zedong era).

Nah. Probably someone greased the hands of the guards to look the other way. Maybe even give threats along the lines of "Off yourself now or else.". I mean, there is worse fate than offing yourself. Of course, there is the real possibility that the feds actually fucked up that badly. The government, despite what conspiracy theorists like to tell you, are human and have real human faults. Being Big Brother doesn't give them absolute mastery in everything. But then again, this is Epstein we are talking about... who the fuck knows? Man... if the likes of the Panama Papers (and other related stuff) doesn't phase the rich and powerful, I actually don't think being outed as pedo shit would do anything. To the absolute surprise of no one, Epstein was found dead in his jail cell. Or maybe we are surprised since it is so obvious. I think people should keep digging...

Valkyrie Profile also has the exploration of dungeons and enemy interaction outside of combat. From what I can tell, Indivisible refined it some more to kind of look like a metroidvania. Hmm... I guess at their cores, both games is kind of a mishmash of traditional JRPGs and metroidvanias.

Indivisible finally have a release date: October 8th! I recall the crowd funding for this back in 2015. I had a feeling it would take a while so I didn't contribute (I also contributed a shit ton of money to Trigger for Little Witch Academia not too long before this so I was spent). Hopefully it will all be great!

The Ooblets devs are exactly like the sort of people who burn all their bridges once they won a lotto. Cute game and all but with hearts that shit, I don't want no part of it. Epic is gonna Epic. I wonder how far their "Fuck you" money can take them since in many ways they are burning bridges too but they are a big business and that sort of thing works differently on that level. Okay, sure, the casual player/gamers probably don't care about all this nonsense which may lead to Epic gaining a stronghold in this market. In many ways, they seem to want to quickly be the Apple App Store... but I'm unsure if it will all pan out.
