The thing with DMC5 is that it seems to take some cues from DmC, which isn't necessarily a bad thing (see, I can like DmC as well!). Also the music was pretty lackluster. We'll see once gameplay hits and stuff.
Well, this is for sure the best one. Maybe? It has been a while and I am bias to my childhood Tales of Destiny.
You know, Microsoft really didn't sell the Xbone. Hell, they even mentioned the next console too. While it is not surprising, it almost seems like they're putting Xbone out the the pasture soon, like next year or two soon.
I recall reading that there is gameplay at E3 but it's behind closed doors. Maybe something like how DOOM was showed off initially. You'll need to find people you like that are there to get a good feel of how it is like.
Not quite E3 but it is during it so here it goes. Not sure why they dropped it during the middle of the night.
So 13th month of 2018 and 13 years (one month and seven days) since Kingdom Hearts 2. Seems to have some other number games going on... seven good guys versus 13 bad guys. Or something. All I know is that Nomura played the long game for some number fuckery.
Didn't think my childhood soul can die even more. Sure it to be expected of Command and Conquer now but... pfft. Fuck it, it's hilarious. EA crossed into where mutilating a corpse is funny.
Official emulation on the Switch has to be coming, right? It be best if Nintendo did a Wii and older consoles emulation official on the Switch to head off people on the edge on pirating.
But being Nintendo, they'll most likely bungle it all up.

Looks like Steam is fully backing out of policing games on Steam except in the cases of illegal or "troll" content and games. It'll be up to each user to curate their store pages. Seems like with the upcoming UI update we'll have more power to do so. Auto curation (which caused the visual novel issue a few weeks back) will still be there but you can disable it. Overall, I like it. Just have to hope that they don't bungle it up.
Oh yeah, you can have your anime titties. Or butts.
My attention was suddenly pointed towards Popful Mail today, a side-scrolling platformer in the vein of Wonder Boy mashed with the likes of Slayers. It's pretty janky by today's standards but it got quite the cast. Only letdown on that end is the very 90's localization. Here's the Sega CD version that got localized:
PC-88 version
I'm a total PC-88 fanboy so I think it's the superior version, sadly it is not localized at all.
Progressive is a straight up sequel (a rather safe one) but it doesn't seem to have anything special animation wise going for it. While I think people are being way too harsh to it, I do think Progressive could use it's own "animation voice" (don't think simple Hitomi counts). I've seen it with the first episode of Alternative but not so with Progressive episode 1. With that said, I love the opening sequence, the ED and the imagery.
Edit: Kari Wahlgren is a joy.
Oh what the hell. I may not have been blown away but I do love the OST and like the more mature setting. Perhaps it might be the JRPG people been waiting for... we'll see.
