Putting this here since the caravan will eventually reach the US-Mexico border. Roughly 7000 in this caravan with about 1000 applied for refugee status in Mexico. I think another 2000 is forming up in Guatemala. I know there are already some (I'm not sure how many) at the US-Mexico border. The next few weeks is going to be interesting... I'm really not sure how this will all play out. On a related note: we're likely will see more of this sort of migrations in the coming decades as climate change disrupts the economies and politics of countries like Honduras (mainly poorer countries).

I use the mobile website a lot but one thing I never figured out is how to delete any embedded media. Am I just blind or is it not possible? I know I can just force desktop view but yeah...

The fuck if I know but I re-registered just in case even though I got everything but my ballot in the mail. Still waiting for that so I can spend some time researching in er nest for my votes. Also remember, you can leave stuff blank if you don't have an educated opinion about any ballot option. It's honestly better than just blindly voting for something. It's a good sign for sure. The ports coming over is also a good sign for Sen III and Sen IV. Falcom needs the first two games on the PS4 and have new people play them to get people caught up (enough) in order to play Sen III and IV. It wouldn't make sense to tell people to hit up the PS3 or any other platform to get started. I truly believe that all this uncertainty over Sen III and IV will be over around the time the ports comes over. So say 6 months. Worst case scenario is summer 2019. Whoever has it should announce it then...

Cold Steel I and II Kai are coming out west for PS4. Most interesting but is that they have duel audio. Hmm... And yeah, PC will get duel audio as well. Basically securing a replay. I'm gonna miss hearing Sean Chiplock as Rean.

Two graphic novels that's quite a bit different from what I usually get. The Best We Could Do is about one family's time getting out of Vietnam after the Vietnam War and then settling elsewhere (probably in the United States). I think it might be an excellent offshoot from watching Ken Burn's The Vietnam War. The aftermath was covered rather quickly in The Vietnam War, especially for those trying to leave Vietnam in the years following the fall of Saigon. Our Story is as self described. In this case this was made by a widower and spans from before the author meeting his future wife to around the time of her passing. 1922-2008. This is his way of remembering her. I also got the following: Soil health is near and dear to my heart. A lot of work in my garden is actually soil improvement since the soil can be in really rough shape. If you all ever remember anything about soil, please remember that what goes down in the soil is half or more of what goes on with a plant. Another draw for this book is the author whom I've been following for years. An excellent geomorphologist, geologist and science writer. Been meaning to pick this up for a long time but I finally found it on the sale cart. The main draw for this cookbook is to have a firmer grasp of combining flavors to get what works. I know a lot of things from trial and error but it is nice to have this for inspiration. There's also a vegetarian version but one thing at a time... today was a pricey book shopping day.

I've been noticing that my newer (within the last 6 months) jeans were having issues staying on with my belt tightened to how I was used to. So up one notch up (or is it down?) it goes, to a position that I haven't used in a while. I also tried my field work jeans that I used up to a year or two ago but stopped using since it was popping the button. It fits normally now at about 210lbs. Slowly but surely... Here's to 200lbs by New Years. 180lbs by my 30th maybe (gonna get harder as I get lower and of course gain muscle mass).

Maybe I'll get Va-11 Hall-A on the Switch... seems about right if I want to just stop at a moment notice. Well, whenever it drops on the Switch.
