I don't think there is ever a month or week that I don't think about Redline every since I watched it years ago. It always somehow comes up due to it's stunning visual design or the awesome soundtrack. Redline is just a melding of things you rarely see nowadays. Wolf mentioned successful movies like Your Name and he pretty much nailed how I feel about them: they feel samey*. When I think of Makoto Shinkai, I think "Oh, his brand of movies". If any of you haven't watched Redline yet, do yourself a favor and at least try it out. It's an amazing ride which wouldn't surprise me if it makes some of you sick and disoriented. *Same deal with a lot of anime shows as well. Sure I like well executed shows even if they're pretty safe, I seek out those who does things a bit different. Not all of them pan out well sadly. See: The Rolling Girls.

Too much bitching about the chibi art style. It's, to me, a 3D version of the sprite work. Sure, it be awesome to get say a Vanillaware treatment (the title screen art is more than enough justification) but come on. To me the way they went about it can make it stand up to time (like the sprites) unlike say the Final Fantasy remakes. Ok, maybe Flammie could use some flowing feathers just for it.

The former writer for Half Life posted a summary of what would've happened in HL3. Pastebin since his website is hugged to death. Not like HL3 would ever come out so... for those who still care about Half Life, enjoy?

I don't think many of us care but Mercy rez is now an ability with a 30 second cooldown. You just revive one person. Her ult is now the ability to fly and with some enhanced abilities. Seems like if you use rez before you use your ult, you get another rez. Not sure how I feel. Isn't Ana the preferred healer now? This change seems to be make Mercy even more useless. I guess flying is cool... and it makes battle Mercy a bit more viable? I guess she's meant to be offensive now?

Seems like Steve Bannon have been fired or has resigned from his position in the White House. Not sure that'll help Trump at all since it either means fire and fury from Breibart aimed at him or nothing happens which would suggest Trump and Bannon are still talking. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild This morning I rolled over in my bed to grab my Switch. I did not leave my bed. Still though, I am getting MGSV PTSD flashbacks. Like MGSV, BotW has superb gameplay but there is a sense of a lack focus. I don't feel like I am getting anywhere. Sure I climbed a bunch of towers (god damn it Nintendo, why did you guys copied this?) and did tons of trials but with so much abilities being front loaded, there's a serious lack of sense of progression. I essentially just grinded for health, stamina and finding better weapons and that doesn't make me feel like I am progressing much. But I got to say, it's nice to finally understand some of the fanart I've seen of Link.

Welcome aboard! And Legend of Legaia is dope as fuck. When I think about it, it had a great sense of progression with you trying out different input combos to discover new moves, in a turn-based RPG of all things. Maybe someday we'll see something like it again.

I've been wondering it for a while. Now in my mind there is no room for debate that he is. He could've straight up falsely condemned (lied) to nab one of the easiest political give-mes to keep people wondering. Yet he did not do that. His initial silence and now doubling down on his initial statement is all anybody really needs. I do however now wonder if I work with or around any budding, closet or full-blown white supremacists. A lot of them are being embolden by Trump.
