SMS We do do email, hell I did so today after a group text with a picture failed to go through but email is typically reserved for less urgent things. I am out in the field finding fossils during active construction excavations. SMS is typically faster. I personally think it's on my end with group chat and with photos. Email goes through flawlessly but SMS just chugs and fails to go through. Plain texting with one person is snappy though. Also if I want, I could request a work phone since it's an optional part of my employment.

On Friday I got chewed out for not responding to work related texts. The thing is I did. My supervisor and I exchanged screenshots of our text in a group chat. Completely different sequence of texts which made for a really confusing conversation. Add in some missing texts and it appears that I wasn't replying. Things got cleared up but fuck am I still pissed. Besides restarting my phone daily and typing a timestamp in some of my texts, how else can I best defend myself from this situation? I personally think it is my phone (Note 3) and carrier (Cricket) but there's so many variables that it's hard to commit to a plan of action.

They wanted that to improve rendering time for their, I think, 8K (yes, 8K) content. They got to be able to render it and preview it quickly otherwise shit can't get done in a reasonable time frame. In the end though, I think Linus said it wasn't worth it even to them. It's like $35k to outfit the office with them for such a marginal (and spotty) improvement. I think it's their workflow not being up to stuff since this seems to be a co-processor card that big studios uses.

Gave Castlevania on Netflix a shot. It's not bad. Some odd cuts and animation issues but it has great color and lighting direction. Some of the fights are pretty badass as well.

People are speculating about implications about XSEED doing/ordering a new port of a PSP game. Joyland put up four games on Greenlight and pulled them a while back. Ys Seven was one of those games. Maybe Joyland pulled them because XSEED already had things in the works. So far 1/4. Two of the others are ones we (FLD, I and many other) want... Zero and Ao.

This time with a proper controller I can probably beat the last boss.

Work is shielding me from browsing politics (10 hours days are nice). What's happening? Did Eric or whatever his face is being insane like his dad?

Might be a slow burner of an album since it got to live up to Omega Arcane. Anti-Life Savior from this album is so far best song. This is a solid intro song though.
