If you think about it, eating insects isn't that much different from eating shellfish. Hell, I'm known to eat fried shrimp whole, shells and all. I'm also curious to try one of those ants that taste like honey. But yeah... what do they taste like?

Another spoiler-free gameplay video. I've been avoiding most of them so this one might be a good one for me to watch. Still though... I think they might be better served to chill on the marketing until say December/January (Edit: Disregard, I have a terrible memory). I rather see a build of the game that closer to being gold than this in progress shot.

They have great production during live shows, enough to get me curious, and their songs are catchy as hell. Moa and Yui can rock out with guitars if they have too but it how well they do is up in the air. This is where their idol background shows since their crew is so large. Who plays for them and even the lyrics is really fluid. I suppose I should approach them like I do with most of the top pop artists. Like their music but unsure about the people. Well, besides the instrumental guys, they're awesome.

It's a compelling but mediocre game. You can even call it downright bad but the concept is compelling enough for me to keep on playing when I did. Pity about what Hello Games did... this is a game that should've went through some sort of development hell, not shat out. And Sean Murray is a terrible name to utter.

I just got back from seeing Blind Guardian live with Grave Digger opening. Holy shit the energy that a Guardian show has is AMAZING. Hardly ever misses a beat. Seeing them at Wacken (above) is now seriously on my bucket list. Hansi, Andre and all of them gives as much energy in a smaller show like I've attended as he does in Wacken. It was kind of intimate in a way. I think Wacken would lose that but gain so much more from a massive crowd. The sing-along songs are just so much fun even if you repeat the same verse for minutes at a time.

I gave Kingsglaive a watch. It is very pretty. As for everything else, it's not bad and it does give quite a bit of background on the world of XV and what to come. Most of it is pretty good while some is head scratching. For example: Glauca. Anyhow, Square Enix should just announce a PC version already... I know I shouldn't but I feel like diving into this game ASAP. The story is at least interesting enough for me. Edit: I also think Ravus (Luna's brother) and Ardyn are people to watch.

California tap water is fine for the most part. I haven't had problems with it in the Bay Area, SLO and LA. Then again I don't live in the poorer areas and my water always was sourced from the CA Aqueduct and the like. I bet the water is pretty bad in say the San Joaquin Valley in say Bakersfield. Any groundwater is completely fucked by agriculture. NYC for sure have good water but of course the building could be an issue like some of my childhood homes. Bad to the point of gagging. It had a smell and taste to go along with it. Then again I may have been a kid that just hated the "taste" of water. Now I drink almost always from the tap. If I tried to drink from bottled water, it would get expensive really quickly.

The 60 FPS update brought this way up my wishlist. The sale also helps.

I'm not sure what I'm getting into but I just found out that Granblue Fantasy is available in English so I'm giving that a whirl. Currently you got to find the APK to download it or play it as a Chrome browser app. So far all I know is this is a free-to-play turn based RPG. It has a timer and all but it supposedly pretty good on stuff to do while you wait. Now to dive in... Edit: Eh... rolling for waifus the game. I don't think I will ever quite understand mobile games... well anything besides Reigns. Reigns uses smartphones correctly.

For things to come... Space X just fired off a very bold proclamation I suppose. Lifting 20 people and the supplies they need at once with 42 rockets with the combined thrust equivalent to 3.4-ish Saturn V rockets (The real big boys that sent Apollo mission to the Moon). My mind has trouble grasping how it will all work but it sounds doable. Reason why I put this in this thread. We can crunch out the numbers and physics. Space X just need to get the funding to do such a thing. There's some science that needs to be done before hand like regarding human being in space for so long but it can all be worked out. Still... part of me thinks a space elevator is easier in the long run. We just got to find the suitable material to build it with...

Every since you posted Allegaeon, I've been hooked to them. A nice and easy listening band from Hong Kong that I recently discovered and I really like them. Good vocals, instrumentals and artwork.

Taking a look at some of the recent VR stuff coming out, people are standing and using those Vive sticks or some other specialized input method. It's cool and all but they're still pretty much standing in place (in real life and in-game) and there is no realistic way to solve the space problem when talking about moving about. I just want to see substantial in-game movement in a Vive setup. Granted, I'm not looking very hard. I know that people do play stuff like Minecraft in VR so moving around and doing stuff while seated isn't an issue. I think people and devs are just trying too hard to be 1:1 with real movement. It looks (in-game!) awesome but there's only so much you can do standing and twirling. As for the twirling... I swear someday we'll get good wireless video streams and awesome batteries... Imagine the hardware you'd need for rendering something for VR and then streaming it.

I don't watch or follow much of anything for anime. I just look at what is coming out and decide what to watch. And guess what? SEASON TWO MOTHER FUCKERS PXOD, prepared to be tanked by me again.
