At this point, I just assume it's because video games are literally the only thing they have going on in their lives. It's the only way I can make sense of someone getting so emotionally invested and enraged over something like video games. Well, that and autism, I guess.

Really though, most big sites seems to have politicized gaming. They all seem to forgotten to how to have fun and sometime take games for what they are rather than what their marketing says or what they could be (aka their potential).

That theme just blends with the temp music. Imagine a Marvel franchise where each hero had a memorable theme and it could be mix together for say when they work together. Shame that these movies just don't have anything memorable so that you can hear that tune and just instantly imagine the movie or characters.

Gave Narco a spin and it turned into a season one binge. Knowing that Escobar eventually gets killed, season two should be it. Now everybody else's fate... I don't know and that what keeps me in the show. But hell, half of the real stuff that goes down sounds like a fiction and that keeps me in too. Luxury prison for exchange for peace... It just doesn't sound real.

Well, nobody ever questioned SE's composers on their musical talent. Everything I've listen to was good. The question is if the game will stand up well. Still debating if I should gamble on this game like I did with NMS. Well there is no gambling on my part since it won't be on PC anytime soon.

Oddly, my GOG saves are still around... Chapter two or three at the mechanic town. Forgot the name. My progress to this point was hard fought.
The story in God Eater is typical anime kind of junk. At this point with how my character looks, it kind of becomes a comedy. I kind of approach it like I do with EDF. Cheesy but ties everything together. Fighting wise, I find it to be lacking in some parts but not bad. It's less brawler and more attack the weakspots for massive damage....

Well, it was originally a PSP game, so I would expect it to be a bit lackluster, yeah. Doesn't sound too bad, though. Will likely get it at some point.
Kinda wish you could get just the first one for cheaper, though.

Giving medics a gun that kind of acts like a sniper rifle in Battlefield 1 is a poor choice. Their role is in the front with the charge. Speaking of the charge, the bayonet charge is pretty sweet. Nothing like tossing smokes or gas then charging. Bonus if you are on a horse. It's the totally suicidal WWI reenactment of the following. Nobody expects an one man charge since most people are sniping...

From what I've seen, it's not bad. Each characters got their own quirks which helps with changing things up. For example, Mikasa is fast as hell compared to the others.Then we have Armin... he's can sic his team on a titan with great efficiency. If I didn't get the God Eater games, I would've gotten AoT.

The in-engine cut scenes in Resurrection is just comical. It's pretty much just the character models moving. Whatever emotions the VAs are doing is lost in the progress. Not a big deal. It's tying the game play and game world together. I have purpose. Additionally in the cut scenes and in other parts of the game you can see the influences of being on the PSP. Not to say it is bad but it's there. Anyhow, I can see how the gameplay will get good*. It can be fast pace and have a lot of actions and commands you can do. It is just hampered by poor controller setup. On PC, the item and be bounded to the number keys while the orders can be their shift-# equivalent. Right now it is just clunky to use items and orders (Tab > Q or E to scroll > left click to use or press another button to change to orders). Combat isn't too bad though but the clunkiness is still there. I honestly don't know how it will be on a controller but I just like the mouse to use to aim (toggled by holding Q with the gun selected) and to look around. My initial use of a controller is just sluggish in those regards. I also don't feel like experimenting to see how a bunch of stuff works either... I'm still finding stuff out with the KB+M configuration. *Flying around with a giant spear is kind of awesome. Not to mention I can bust out my gun to wreck shit or maybe chew on something. I think I need to change my approach to this game... I should view it as a Symphogear simulator. Music would match too!

I'm actually not sure which one to really start with but God Eater 2 Rage Burst comes with Resurrection which seems to be a remake of a remake of the first game. I've decided to go with the first game (Resurrection) in chronological order. Performance wise, it's all fine. 60 FPS and an alright option menu. There's actual mouse cursor selection in the menus! Some of them are rather janky though. Gameplay wise, it is clunky but I've only played the two tutorial missions. After a few weeks off gaming even my beloved EDF 4.1 was a bit weird so I'll give this game some time before I pass a informed judgement. One thing for sure though, it is no Ys level of tight gameplay... I think.

Heard that the port is fine if not I'll return it. I never played any Monster Hunter or any of its clones so this will be a first.
