Sometimes I wonder if I actually have some sort of vague premonition ability in my dreams. I run into a situation that feels really familiar to me despite never having been in it before, and then my brain kicks in and I swear that I actually dreamed about it weeks before. It usually applies to things like running into someone wearing a certain type of clothing, or running into someone at a specific time in a specific place. It happens often enough that I often wonder about it, and have yet to come up with a proper explanation.

They've done well of late. Deus Ex is good, and Just Cause 2 is good. Dungeon Siege 3 was at least not terrible. If they can knock Hitman out of the park then I think you'll have nothing to worry about.

Deus Ex is very good, much better than I thought it would be. I wasn't particularly interested in Hitman, but even with the playstyle change, they seem to be giving it their all.
But all I want is Garrett back. The stealin' taffer.

I feel sad. The system requirements were released today. Goes to show how long I've gone without upgrading my computer when it can only meet slightly above minimum requirements. RAM and CPU upgrade will be high on my Christmas priority list (most likely RAM. Can you believe that I'm still running on only 2 GBs of RAM? Insane!).

Some people already have it. 1942 had an intro. BF2 had an intro. BF3 (from what I have seen from startup and beginning campaign videos on YouTube) doesn't have an intro. And here I was looking forward to awesome music and with a kickass trailer to boot. I'd consider that a bad omen. It just goes through the standard publisher/developer/third party studios routine and then cuts straight to main menu. And then you just start the campaign from there. EDIT: The campaign does look really nice, though.

Hopefully, a demo for the PC, too. Though judging by how well that's been working out so far, I highly doubt it.

You will be missing out on a lot. Like awesome user-made quests, armor, weapons, accessories, houses, locations... and/or nude mods. Whatever floats the boat.

Guilty Crown got put up today. Quite... interesting. Also, I hear a lot of people were waiting for it due to the fact that it's produced by Production IG. Been hearing a lot of praise about their production values, and it doesn't surprise me to see why.

Let's not forget the mods. Most likely anywhere in between from 10-100 more hours depending on what you choose to install. Personally, I love armor/weapon and quest mods.

Dark Souls is a very good incentive for me to get a PS3. Soon... soon... I will. But Skyrim's coming out in a month.

I simply want a PS3 for Dark Souls. All these people talking about how hard it is... as a member of the PC Gaming Master Race, who thrives on twitch games and split-second situation analysis, I must see how I can fare against it.

So out of all the new animes that came out recently, I have seen: Fate/Zero: Because prequel, that's why. C^3 - C Cube: I smell a mini-harem. Also, tsundere. Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!: Going to watch it, but waiting for the eroge itself to get fully translated before I give it a go. Hurr hurr. Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DO NOT WATCH THIS. IT IS HORRIBLE. (See: you must read 18 novels to understand where this anime is right now.) Tamayura ~hitose~: Quite literally the most normal anime there is this season. It's such a normal anime it makes you realize that it fits with real life a little too well. And as an end note to Saturnine's post, I think Evangelion is overrated and horrible. That is all.

After having tried the beta myself, I do agree with Maritan now. Nothing like MoH. Even more curious, this is probably the first time I've seen a flashlight used as a possible offensive weapon beyond being in the hands of Imperial Guardsmen.

Hey, if we both get into beta, I'll play with ya. I've been a longtime player of MMOs (like, literally, almost every single F2P MMO that's been released in 2008 or earlier, I have played, along with trials for some P2Ps as well, since I'm a cheap bastard). Also very nice to see another MMO enthusiast. Case in point being my Raptr account (http://raptr.com/eldanesh117/games, sort by most played), in which the top 5 games played all happen to be MMOs.

Maybe you just can't enjoy games anymore? ...or maybe because it's the fact that they're screenshots. Eye candy is nice, but you don't need to play the game to enjoy eye candy. Also, from what I know from friends who are in the beta, there are some aspects of it that feel like Medal of Honor at times.

Yeah, I have to agree, the Amagami arcs are a tad bit short. And Rihoko gets no closure whatsoever. Also, I heard they were getting a second season. Also, this. I'm not sure what it's from, but I'm almost 100% certain it's related to Amagami. I found it whilst browsing around.

Are each of the respective faction's classes locked to that faction? I've been talking with some friends who are jumping into the game when it starts, but they're rolling Sith, and I want to roll a Trooper (specifically, Commando. Armor and guns! Armor and guns!), but I'm pretty sure Troopers are Republic-only...

So, the lawsuit-waver thingy that Sony put into their EULA... Origin did it, too. Which is strange, because I've read that it cannot work because the agreement does not have a signature (since it originated from an AT&T case involving contracts).

Those things never work. EULAs have very little real power over the consumer, so these little thingies they keep adding don't amount to anything. The only people losing their shit over this is people who already hated Sony.

It won't come as any surprise to me if they half-ass it. Again. Still, my comment stands. They want to seriously get back into PC gaming? Give us the rest of the damn Halo series on PC. God knows I'd kill to play Halo: Reach on my gaming computer.
