Remember to not make the mistake that this is a show that follows regular tropes, especially on plot armour. ...also be aware that we're now out of books too which have marked how the plot goes for most part the last 5 series, and now we're in a "tv writers making shit up all Fullmetal Alchemist style n hoping they're sorta close to mark".
-
I believe that's the new date anyway, it was due end of this year originally I believe.
-
Most of my movies are "digital", though I'll pick up Blu-Rays occasionally but they're more for collection than much else.
-
I imagine we'll get more of this in E3.

My current desktop. The wallpaper is from a selection of No Man Sky concept art which I've posted in the NMS thread. It's quite nice, I like the pastel colours too it. Used to have a bunch of space shots (both real n composite/artist impressions). The doubled up taskbar is some weird trick I can drag a how-to for if anyone cared for it, though I've a sneaky feeling I only have it still from upgrading from Win 7 n not sure if it's super native to Win 10. My middle monitor is actually Desktop 1, so I can game on it, and I move the taskbar over to the smaller screen so I have quite access to it, kinda bummed that you don't get time on all the desktops. I keep my sort of utility/productivity stuff on that, in the middle some files I'm working on atm, and on the right is my gaming stuff with my "backlog" of sorts on the far right. This incidentally is a huge PITA when some driver updates go a bit awry cos it lumps it on one screen.
-
I've shifted stuff over, does now mean my Desktop is in the wrong thread but I'll sort that in a mo.

You know I sorta promised this a while ago. So here's my desk/gaming area which tbh I swear actually go in a different thread but meh. Not sure on the desk, that came with the place, but the chair is from Ikea so much easier to find globally than one from Argos. It's a Malkolm. I'd sat in one of the leather ones previously and quite liked it though wanted the fabric as leather can get a horrible when it gets warm, and it's pretty affordable as chairs go. The side drawers is a slightly modified flat pack I picked up for...I think £12, from Wilko. The keyboard is only sort of temporary atm, my regular one kinda goes funky. You can't see it (well, in whole at least) but on the side is a door clothes rack I use to hang my headphones, it's a decent solution n keeps the felt pads from getting dust on them if rest them on the tower. The little easel up top does come with a miniature canvas too, it's from Clas Ohlson which might be in NA, though I've seen them in Tiger (which might also be in UK, unsure) too. I'd imagine they're not hard to find. But as a small phone stand they're quite nice. My cabling is pretty atrocious but it's miles away from my feet and as long as I'm not accidentally kicking plugs out I'm fine. A tower is a great investment over a regular 4-plug extension btw. In the interest of fairness since I was nosying, here's my shelf: I have a shit ton more books at home, but as I've shifted to Kindle I've not been too bother to remove from my parents attic. Also missing is the rest of my Star Wars which I should really get back. My plant died a couple months ago too, I've just not gotten around to filling my plant pot. I don't know where this shelf is from, it's an old housemates, he was gonna toss it but I really liked it so nabbed it. In case I have anyone over this is to make sure they don't linger too long. Obscured by terrible lighting is my Jaguar e-Type. The Optimus prime is off my mum, I don't know why, but it was nice thing to build. The post I've kept is from the Discworld Emporium, I think it tweeted it ages back but it has Discworld stamps on it. The pot thing with a light is an Airwick thing that was on offer over Xmas, got one for my sis too. I assume they were cheap in same way a razor blade handle is, and the wax costs more but I've found loads of shops selling sticks for cheap, I assume they didn't sell as well as expected. Printer is a HP Envy, it's alright, mainly for scanning but used it to photocopy a bunch of stuff off therapist too. Oh n slightly out of shot is a First Order build-a-bear stormtrooper I got for xmas. Photos were taken with "Foteej" app I'm trialling, and I swear it's almost fish-eye lensing my pictures somehow. edit: Desktop moved to a different thread and adding some older examples: 2011, final uni pad I believe - http://forum.pressxordie.com/topic/898-post-your-gaming-area/page-1#entry38815 2012, moving back with mum for a bit http://forum.pressxordie.com/topic/898-post-your-gaming-area/page-3#entry87765 2014, 2nd year at Newcastle pad - http://forum.pressxordie.com/topic/898-post-your-gaming-area/page-3#entry87765 2016, first year current Newcastle pad - See this post. My monitors have really done well, the one not in the most recent shot is still kicking around too just used by a housemate. The 5.1 speakers I still have just can't get to work properly any more with drivers n multi-monitor HDMI set-up. Mouse n keyboards have changed since, n my cup now has pens in (cos it got a crack). Also that first photo is a HTC Wildfire, which I still have n it still works. Also yes that first number says 2011.

So I hear John Boyega got a Pacific Rim Job

Yeah, Pacific Rim accomplished the impressive feat of boring the shit out of me despite being about giant robots beating kaijus over the heat with boats. And I'm usually a huge Del Toro fan.

I imagine it's cos while it's no doubt going to be on PC, they won't know a date so best to avoid mentioning it for now (also it's a Japan trailer and I imagine they don't care much on the PC as much as the west).

Question: Since I notice the URL implies it's posted from the tapatalk app, did you shrink the image before upload? I'll be honest I like nosying on some of the extras and somewhat bummed that the quality of the image means I can only make out that you have Matrix, though not Animatrix (boo), Star Wars, maybe Walking Dead, and Chappie n Pulp Fiction n tbh the only reason I know on the Pulp Fiction is cos I have that too. Also is that...Call of Duty on the top shelf nestled next to Tomb Raider?

Oh yeah, I was gonna suggest D&B too assuming America doesn't have it normally. It's not something that I go out of the way to buy, but I do quite like it, it gets up your nose. Obviously if you can get it one that's suggested is Irn Bru, the drink of Scotland. It's made from girders. I believe that Scotland is the only country where Coca Cola is sold that it's not the most popular drink. Apparently Yorkie phased out "It's not for girls" in 2012. I would imagine that so many /UK/ recipes use digestives. I imagine that Americans are using alternate biscuits for their cheese cake bases. It would strike me as odd to require an item that's quite an uncommon food stuff unless you've a local brit import aisle.
-
I'm inbetween those too, but largely cos I have 3 monitors and my PS3 n PS4 run into these too.
-
Yorkies are great. Though I have no idea what their current slogan is, if they have one, given it used to be "They're not for girls".

Unsure if played FFXII or not, but they'll be the Judges. They're cool, and actually the main characters you see the models/action figures of in Forbidden Planet n such too from FFXII. (and I guess also Fran n Baltheir...which if you've not played FFXII he shares the same VA as the...errr...relic people things in Destiny in the Queens space port thing. I've not played Desting in a while).

From laptop brands family n friends have used over the years, my dad has a Lenevo and it's a rather nice looking laptop, runs pretty dang well n he can do occasional CAD on it too (he's a desktop mainly set up for it). My sister has/had a Sony Vaio that ran well for ages. Acer is a bit of a shit laptop, might have improved since but everyone I know with one has had the power bust up on it. Dad used to have a dell, which is still around and now the kids laptop for school work (and me installing some of my HIB stuff on for them to play ) and I guess they're cheap and run stuff, but it came with a bunch of Dell shit like a rocketdock knock off and also it felt plasticy as hell, the hinge/screen was very flexible/wobbly. Avoid "Gamer" laptops in any shape and form as they're normally both extremely garish, and also an excessive cost added on for the hell of it (though I guess as a macbook owner you'd be used to that ). Lenevo are quite "businessey" but the parts under the hood are much the same as any other type of laptop, and they're built in such a way to be a bit of a workhorse too cos that's what businesses demand (it's worth noting Dell do business laptops too, though I think they're business section is only around for like bulk orders for businesses n schools n such). This Lenevo Yoga seems pretty decent, nice specs and does the whole tablet/touchscreen stylings too: http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/lenovo-yoga-500-14-2-in-1-white-10137561-pdt.html (obviously need to find Canadian equivalent)

That's ™ and © for the curious. Also we have an Alt Gr key, which the keyboard pic of EU rights raised that US doesn't have the Alt Gr key. Over here it's mainly used for adding accents n umlauts. Anyway for an alternate look here's a "British Foods" aisle in US http://imgur.com/a/LfaPN hehehe...beaverton My amazement is finding out which ones are int'l brands like Sharwoods, Angel Delight (which I'd taken for being american) n Tango. Also the digestives are mostly gone which is curious as I swear I've heard Americans aren't particularly keen on them especially cos it's a biscuit called "digestives". Doubly funny is I'm pretty sure that there's nothing in them that would aid digestion in anyway. Should any of you come across a shelf like this my recommendations are: - Yorkshire Tea - Custard (I'd guess from the amount of variets there you don't have custard. It's best eaten with fresh warm cake) - Galaxy chocolate anything - Colemans Mustard (which I know is different to american mustard cos you can't squeeze it from a tube n also cos I think it's "English mustard" but more to define it from french mustard. American mustard isn't much of a thing*) - Digestives (best with Yorkshire tea, dunked) - R Whites (but you have to drink it in secret...for reasons) - HP sauce, fruity or regular. Good with bacon ("back bacon") butty. - Pot Noodles, the Chicken n Mushroom (green) is the more common flavour. - Wagon wheels. My gran is only one I knew to get them. They're large wafer biscuits with marshmallow n jam sandwiched between then coated with chocolate. What I will say is most of the aisles over here of US import food is purely stuff we can't get over here, like fluff, lucky charms, etc. Nothing that has a direct equivalent. Some things on here are very much "you must have this particular brand of things", such as you see the /r/mildlyinteresting post of a restaurant with hienz mayo n hellmans ketchup. It's not the done thing. But some stuff there is a "you take whatever" such as the pickled onions n crabsticks, which to me implies you guys don't have those products. Or the demerara sugar, marmalade n lemon curd too. *my mum recently got like a novelty table set, it's a miniature picnic table but with holes for S&P and a tomato bottle n a mustard bottle, as you get in american diners n such. I was confused at the mustard bottle being half empty until she pointed out she'd filled it with brown sauce

In case you were curious on how little fundamental rights we have as EU citizens. Obviously in america the rights are much bigger cos texas/kids will swallow the book and...

We knew it was coming, and now it's officially teased. Happy that it's not just the opening cos I was like "of course this'll look good, it's an FMV". The textures on the original were really good anyway and looked pretty sweet in PCSX2, so it'll visually scale up to HD quite well. Main thing will be seeing what changes are made cos there was the "international Zodiac job system" or whatever version it was that came out in Japan that mixed up a bunch of the levelling mechanics n got rid of the stupid ass 4 treasure chest zodiac spear shitfest they put in.
-
If you're just playing indie titles then I'd imagine pretty much any laptop that isn't the cheapest of the cheap will do you, both AMD n Intel chips have the combo CPU-GPU thing going on. Alas I can't offer much more help than that given I don't bother with Macs or laptops.
-
They are doing more, next one already announced with the New Mutants or whatever the hell it was, the second set of X-Men. Which the ending was sort of setting up. Also the only interaction between Logan n Scott, Scott was a dick about it. And yeah waaayyyy too many people. Prety poor motiviation n such too. Writing was really the films major poor point and not much you could do on top of that.

I think with Heroes and Heroes Reborn in that 10 year gap between shows they've ended up with the MCU springing up and likes of AoS, Daredevil n Jessica Jones on TV too they had to do a bit to update the show. And yeah the Flash edit is the big thing that makes me wonder where they're wanting to go with the show. Introducing the multi-verse was a good way of fleshing out the rogues gallery (which we've been a bit short on Captain Cold this series apart from the Micheal Ironside episode)

Directors Cut trailer. Which I'm pretty sure that music used is from only Man of Steel. Cos that had a great OST, and I remember coming away from BvS thinking the music wasn't overly memorable if at all.
-
I'll be honest I stopped like 4 or so episodes into Reborn, so I'm only vaguely aware of who is who. Anyone else watch The Flash? Been thinking how cos of the way they've done things with the 52 multiverses they can easily have the original 1990 Flash (where Henry Allen's actor plays The Flash, Mark Hamill plays the Trickster n Prof McGees actress plays Prof McGee), as well it lay alongside the current Justice League films. Some of the ending I'm hoping they tone down for Season 3 cos this started to get a bit meme-ey with Wells literally using "The speedforce" as a legitimate response to a question on why something happened how it did, and I think Barry used much the same at how he took out Zoom. The other ending on the man in the mask was Chekhov Rifle'd like many episodes ago (though not everyone believed it was the case but obviously unfamiliar with chekhovs gun).
