  2. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1220355 So there's a bunch of stuff about it on NeoGAF if you missed out on the video.
  3. Yeah the quest dungeons are a bit funny. The thing is they can kinda do it cos on many areas there's like the evil corrupted ghosts, then you do the quest, come up from the dungeon and they'll and blue n chilling around. They do instance the Harborage though.
  4. Oooh. I didn't read too deeply into it as I don't own a Xbox console but be great to change the original name I chose. Though I'm a PC/GFWL player so I'll be waaaayyy down their list for being allowed to change.
  5. I'll have a looksy. I should probably get into online board game buying than relying on local stores. Hot Heart is always like "I picked this up cheap on eBay" n I'm sat here with my Discworld n Abyss. (A wee price check, CAH is the one that stuck out for me, they're a bit over priced for a bunch of games compared to Amazon even discount included so maybe worth price checking between the two if there's any you fancy.).
  6. I think for turning TES into an MMO its done an alright job, but overall it feels pretty bland and weak and explorations isn't overly valued.
  7. Booh, Zenimax took the video down. They suck. (In fact the legal team for Zenimax probably have Todd Howard facepalming every other day over the unpopular shit they do).
  8. When you do a tweet and mention (in the traditional conversational sense) someone/something, and someone responds to your tweet and tags in the twitter account of what/who you mentioned. It seems to be a very Twitter-only phenomenon too. You'd never think to do anything like it IRL. "Dear McDonalds, the other day we were having a conversation amongst ourselves and Dean said he thought Big Macs were a bit flat compared to the pictures. I figured I'd let you in on this despite Dean being a grown adult and if he felt like providing direct feedback he knows your email address to". edit: Also freaks me out, especially of late when I've been fangasming over FFIX that ever time I've mentioned FFXII as well I've had this guy message me on Twitter. He's obviously got like some kind of search set up. Had similar in past when I've linked to an article n I get a response from the author. I don't care or I'd have included you or commented directly on the post.
  9. This is quite interesting, some footage of the cancelled "Elder Scrolls Travels" games for PSP. Not looking half bad for a PSP though the combat is extremely poor by modern standards, I imagine it'd be fine back in the day. Man, a great machine when hacked.
  10. http://news.xbox.com/2016/05/16/xbox-live-gamertag-release/ Bunch of Gamertags getting released.
  11. News that Fox are remaking Rocky Horror has put me on a slight binge of listening to the rather catchy sound track (though there's a couple stinkers, such as "I'm Going Home" n maybe Eddies Teddy but obviously Time Warp is seminal.
  12. All caught up. Definetly moving forward at a fair clip.

Well there's a pretty open n shut case for the the ASA.
  14. I picked up Rogue Legacy, guess for $2 it's worth a spin.
  15. In the games, a lot of the game happens in the past, but of the relevance of the actual plot most of that does happen in the future/present* (though as noted the more recent ones post-Desmond kinda ditch that). I imagine it would also be humongously cheaper to set most of the film in the present too. The general plot of a lot of the past stuff is "play through your ancestor so we can find out where they hid the piece of eden/location of a temple" or whatever. It has kinda lost itself on the fact the templars do seem to have kind of won in the form of multi-national companies that are able to develop this kind of tech and randomly grab people off the street with little fuss. *Past now I guess.
  16. Australians singing, Americans watching? What the hell is going on with Eurovision? Quality of the acts is going to slide massively if they carry on watering it down like this.

  21. Crocodile Burgers! They're a white meat so a bit harder to judge on been cooked than a beef burger would be. Was certainly quite different. Ostrich was quite dry, and kangaroo was kinda relatable to other meats but this was very much its own thing. Quite sweet tasting almost. I think mine might have been undercooked though, was quite juicy but it was very juicy to start off with. Of them all so far kangaroo was the best.
  22. We're doing one next weekend for my b'day. The "Tolkien Edit" of the Hobbit has also been suggested, but it'd make it 16hrs alone in film, never mind including food n pee breaks n such. Probably one for you to watch: (Also I'm not sure a 4K version would be possible, or at least any better improved on the blu-ray)
