Yeah the fact the French sounds amazing isn't going to really placate the folks downloading and installing a 50GB game with languages they barely know. Which is yeah, lazy developers (not to mention it's a game not an opera, it can afford to trim the fat on the sound files). Origin does some stuff Steam doesn't, like Twitch support, but many obvious things are missing.

It kinda makes sense for both. Keep in mind as far as Iron Man and Shield go, he's not on the greatest of terms given the whole; they don't like him, they shot a nuke at him, working with them nearly killed him, he carries on hacking into their servers. So no red telephone for him. Also Iron Man 3 was up against AIM who do have sort of comparable resources and likely a few infiltration units (and vice versa) that it wasn't ever flagged on Shields end as a "we should intervene". Maybe they didn't care much for president either. On the Thor 2 side: They do spend a fair chunk of it on Asgard and only around half an hour on Midgard/Earth. Not had a chance to check personal email yet but yesterday I did dump another support ticket on Dreamhost with pretty graphs n pointing out it's pissing folks off so might find a finger has been lifted. Frozen Watched it with housemates brothers over (including younger half-sibling who had seen it in cinemas). Very good, certainly lived up to the hype, though at the end we were comparing it with Tangled and felt Frozen's characters were a bit weaker, but were all also "yeah can't wholly remember Tangled's plot". Frozen definitely had a pretty cracking soundtrack too. Reason I bring up the younger brother is that either we've pretty dirty minds or the film has a pretty high amount of euphemisms in it. I think the collective favourite was "take me up the north mountain".

With the PS4 it would be less emulation and more a case of virtualization. Parts wise it's pretty on-par with current computers, so emulating that would be a pointless PITA (a bit like trying to emulate an old Dell on your current PC to run Windows XP, why bother?). So theoretically it'll be simpler, but it wouldn't be emulation.

Been doing some work: So probably the more notable change is disabling the RSS feed on the homepage, though that's probably not going to do much given it only ever appeared on the homepage. (so that'll likely come back) I've gone and twiddled a bunch of settings on the back end to reduce things get in the database for too long. Now means notifications will go after a month (but that should be more than enough time for you to get them) I've tweaked the notification settings, though I don't think it's applied retroactively across current users, so less things will/can trigger emails (which can be a cause of slowness and I did change some email stuff per folks request a couple months ago). I've reset "Watched topics" on a bunch of folks (two in particular who seemed to be following everything on the forum ) Though as there's a lot of people to go through that I'm hoping for a "do it for everyone" solution, then start fresh with people actually still actively using forum. I've also dicked about with PHPMyAdmin to try and tweak bits of the database a bit but not too much there since messing with the DB can fuck things big style (but is likely the main culprit given there's 122K posts on the forum totalling around 150MB). I'm not a web developer though and both the Dreamhost and Invision are pointing their fingers at each other (which is at least better than Dreamhost pointing at the VPS purchase page like they've done in the past). It's liekly a mix of both, the software is pretty huge and clunky in the coding side, which Invision are seemingly making a major change on fixing up in the next version, and Dreamhost being shared hosting isn't going to be the greatest or most ideal for forums especially this old and large. edit: Oh and it might be mixed result on the speed for a bit since it'll likely re-cache stuff on your end to get the "slightly newer" forum.

But the EU flag is for the government. As you've already noted yourself, there is no flag for Europe as a continent. Also Australian flag looks like: Not a koala. The funny thing here being that the Australian government does actually run the Australian Classifications Board and is therefore directly responsible for the censorship. But hey, Koalas. By creating a version of the game that is needlessly censored and associating this censorship and restriction with the EU government Ubisoft is doing something very Wrong. I understand that you understand that EU isn't involved with the games ratings board. I (think) I understand that you understand that Ubisoft is self-inflicting the censorship on the game. The problem is, for a nation where we're currently steamrolling towards a decision that could have pretty big impact on the general way of life for decades to come, it'd be nice to not have video game publishers playing politics and not clarifying that "this is a thing the EU is absolutely not at all involved with despite us putting their flag on the censored bit as a sign that despite EU only contains 27 countries and only one of them has censorship laws and there's another 25 countries not in the EU affected by it too, as well as other nations around the world". But hey, I guess that's just us old "butthurt Europeans" eh? My final say on the matter, now to just hope a fucking South Park video game of all things won't be the sort of game that EDL and UKIP louts will be drawn towards. Oh wait.

ITT: Americans not grasping the EU situation very well.

Why would it need to indicate it's censored in Europe? Especially as it's censored in Australia,Taiwan, Middle East, Singapore and several others as well. The flag of the country who does have censorship laws within Europe is: So why not use that one if Ubisoft feels they really needed to use a flag in Europe to show that the game was needlessly censored rather than using the flag of a government not involved with the game or it's ratings in any way. As noted PEGI actually fully okayed the uncensored game. Ubisoft then censored the game with an EU flag and resubmitted the game. The only country where the censorship laws apply within EU, Germany, doesn't use PEGI but has it's own board the USK, oh and the history with the Nazis that kinda cause issues.

So. Ukraine, Crimea river, NATO, Russia, Putin on the Ritz, shit going down in Eastern Europe.

Why would you need to put the flag of the EU up at all? Why is a "symbol of Europe" required to show that Ubisoft have chosen to censor their own game in several territories around the globe? What's wrong with a bit of South Park imagery, a blacked out screen, happy fun trails, why a face palming David next to the EU flag with "Censored" splashed across it? Within Europe it's Germany that actually has the censorship rules, and those only apply to Nazi symbols (which weren't removed ). Australia doesn't like the whole anal probe stuff, we know this from Saint's Row. But everything else in the rest of Europe? It's all fine and dandy. EU has nothing to do with any part of the game or game ratings or whatever (well beyond trying to give gamers rights that Valve don't want us to have). The fuck up with the German version not removing the only thing that should have been censored and the PC version within Europe being uncensored just paints it as one massively major fuck up on Ubisoft's part that is likely never going to be resolved and probably going to end up with some "Uncut" DLC further down the line.

Catching up on this, quite like some of the new styling, I assume it's sort of set as a "quite a bit after the events of Arkham City" game. Also kinda weird the will is written almost like Thomas new he was going to die.

Anywho it was only after I posted last comment I realised Americans might not fully grasp why it's a bit of a dodgy move to implicate EU in censoring a video game when they EU isn't involved at all.
