    Steam

I would not be surprised to find some kind of shrine to "The Algorithm" at Valve. Probably hooked up to Vives with fleshlights so they can really show how much they love leaving all their work to "The Algorithm". Any who you can filter games to 1,179 featuring nudity, but want to find LGBT games? You're presented a much more limited choice. Also the whole "illegal or troll games" is one of those things that you can't just leave as a throwaway line in official policy. That's the kind of thing that needs like a fair few pages of clarification. What is to "troll". For years BBC used "trolling" instead of "bullying", in the past "trolling" was putting up a Rickroll. And by which countries definition of "illegal" will games be blocked? Will Valve apply US laws globally or make sure that games apply to regional limitations such as the restrictions on Nazi content within Germany? With rules impacting "lootboxes" will those be removed due to gambling laws? As they expand into China will any game referencing Taiwan and Tibet be removed? Will games with LGBT representation be removed for not fitting some countries laws? I've quite a chunk of my gaming collection on Steam so it'd be a bitch to completely pull away from them, but they're certainly no golden angel come to save gaming. Gaming is certainly not as big as presidential elections or EU referendums but maybe in light of all controversy surrounding these if I was Valve I'd be rethinking my over-reliance on algorithms n letting people self-police the store and community.
  2. Depending on what email service you use you could set up strict filtering. Only things in your contact list will come through as normal and everything else marked as spam. I guess it doesn't get rid of the problem but makes it less of a concern. Just need to check in your spam everynow n then.

    Soccer

So I figured I'd get in on some of the world cup fever, n since it popped up on my PS4 anyway, gave the Eng-Tun match a watch in the VR app https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44038006 Can get it on Google Cardboard n Oculus/Samsung too. It's alright, not sure it'd at all ideal way to watch a game but it's certainly different. The tiny guy that joins you in the skybox is a bit fucking creepy though. Also I tried to take a screenshot to share but quelle surprise it's all blocked content.
  4. I'm not entirely sure on the applications of this, but it is pretty cool at least.
  5. This doesn't even have the excuse of being like American and them not knowing the connotation or whatever.
  6. Yeah I guess it's a pretty shit game Though I guess I'm curious: if you've bounced off all other CD Projekt Red games you've tried, why the interest in Cyberpunk 2077? To me the main drive is it's coming off the back of one of the best games ever made (with one of the best expansions ever released). Witcher 1 would make me go "hmm", Witcher 2 a good old "yeah go on". But after Witcher 3 Otherwise it's not like we're hurting for cyberpunk themed games.
  7. .....wait you haven't played Witcher 3?
  8. The brightness was certainly not expected, but tbh I kinda like it. Most cyberpunk games tend to be shades of black with neon blue. And can't deny it was great visiting Toussaint in Witcher 3 and the stark difference in colour and brightness.
  9. Hey, it's a great Ensemble of Ace Studios. I've no idea what you guys are fearing. edit: Also for people wanting to know if/when to stay up/wake up Courtesy of https://twitter.com/Cheesemeister3k/status/1004764590826110976
  10. As a newly minted PSVR owner I'm pretty hype for that. My main issue at the moment is digging out my old Move controllers from my mums. Wherever they are.
  11. I did a wee woopsie with the sales n got (from amazon, so not got it yet) And from town: With: and
  12. Damn, that's a cast. Also I'm amused that it's "from the writer of The Martian" and "The director of Cabin in the Woods". These are the same person, and he's writing and directing this.
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=behpA361zFs This has become one of the most popular battle royal games on Steam within two days.
  14. Made some pad thai. Dry ingredients came in a kit, just needed to add fresh stuff. Never made or eaten it before but an instant favourite, really nice. I might have gone overboard with the chillis so some of the heat was slightly overbearing on the taste (and also I burnt it a little bit since the recipe didn't cover food prep until like the moment that food was needed).
  15. So we have: Bumblebee Which people seem to be liking for potentially being okay and not fully explosion based. Lego Movie 2 And Mortal Engines Steampunk coolness. Seems kinda dishonoredish.
  16. Someone (or some group, I think) went and did them all up in the painted pokemon style.
  17. I've started on One Punch Man. It's pretty good.
  18. So looks to be the same models as Fallout 4 so likely using that. It's expected to be an MMO. Vault 76 is one of the ones that opens kinda early, which might put it even more in line with ESO given that too is based well before the 'regular' games. I expect we'll learn more solid details at E3. I know some people are bummed at the potential prospect of a 7th year with no Skyrim 2.
  19. I'd need to rewatch but when using each stone individually it lights up, and given he started with the power stone, and when getting each new stone he does like to favour that one for a while, he was likely using the power stone in his first battle, and regular titan strength later on since he likely figured he didn't need to be beefing up his power level against meagre mortals.
  20. Maybe Pikachu doesn't feel so good? As for catching without motion controls, given it's swipes for the mobile version, I'd guess not given that's the closest approximation when using Switch docked.
  21. I think this seems quite neat. It's clearly a kind of sort of port-type-thingy of Pokemon Go. I know people like to rag on Pokemon Go, but it's still one of the best performing Pokemon games they've ever made(even with the drop off in place base after initial hype it's still pretty big). I am concerned that at the end both Pikachu and Eevee seem to be a bit dead and ghost-like.
  22. From what I've heard it's a fairly amicable disagreement, and not really any hard feelings.
