The majority of my haul. Two packets of Wrigleys Extra, a Mock the Week book("scenes we'd like to see" stuff), some bookmarks, a non-winning scratchcard (one of three), a finger skateboard, some marvel toiletries, two tickets to a Walking with Dinosaurs show at Metro Arena, chocolate selection box, tube of smarties, a heat changing Pac-Man mug, Nivea bathroom set, and a "Zoob Bot" which is a sort of k'nex style thing, bit more moveable though. Not pictured is my gran has been since then and I got a wooly hat and cheque from her. Going to my dad's on friday. A pretty good haul, except for lacking the fucking iPad waht the fuck maam!!(do not click if you wish to remain in full festive cheer)

Well last time I looked I'd lost 2.5 stone (35lbs for the yanks, 16kg for the euros), aiming to lose some more over the coming year. I've had two jobs this year, and I guess that nullified the second one. 2013 will likely be a repeat on that all. I guess try and clear a chunk of my backlog and aim to socialise a bit more.

Yeah XIII-2 was going to be one of my choices for GOTY given how much an improvement over FFXIII it was. Very focused cast mind, and LR seems to be going even more focused. The story was a bit weird, but this is a FF game so to be somewhat expected. I am interested in a demo too, be interesting to see how it'd pan out.

I have being playing Sims 3. I made my house a Doctor Who household: http://steamcommunity.com/id/deanbmmv/screenshots/?appid=47890 (Aim is to maybe style the house fittingly too, that'd take a bit of time mind). John Smith works at the local laboratory and in his spare time upgrades the house. Rory works at the hospital and in his spare time works out. And Amy works at the theatre and in her spare time plays guitar. Sims is a lot more micro-managey than I remember. But I do like the addition of the ambitions, and the personal achievements and stuff. Getting a career started is much simpler though. In ye olden days it'd take a fair while of in-game time to have a job come up that works out fine, now you just head to the place of work and get an entry level position. If only real life was so simple. Also setting up Sims 3, especially when it comes to online accounts, is a pain in the ass. EA just really need to knuckle down and make a proper Origin Network or something instead of this half arsed thing they've got going on that had me picking from several identities including some I'm pretty sure aren't for EA games at all and some being "dragonage_03384908320" and "masseffect_3094832042". I'm still not sure it's sorted properly, but at least I got the anti-piracy town.

Sim City 4, ten years on, works fine.
