  1. *holds FLD* "There there, it'll all be better now. Don't fight it" *Inject lethal dose* :'(
  2. Just so you know Steam groups people in order of "in Game" then "Online" then everyone else that's offline. Meaning that taking a picture of the first page will of course show everyone that's playing games. But that doesn't make as fun an article.
  3. Through Kovach Skyrim funds And off my own back (cos there's no gifting support)
  4. I have gmail as a secondary email, it's more of a "log in to google services" thing than an email though.
  5. What would you suggest? It's done me very well over the years, ties in with a client better than others and much simpler to use. Future donators: There should be a box that has the option to put in your forum username, please use it so I can find you guys easier. (Also PM me post donation with whatever member title you'd like)
  6. I was responding to the more general no net neutrality/a policed internet stuff with that part.
  7. The problem with the policing is that it's not so much a police as a private security force working for big media and political interests. There's also the issue of jurisdiction. It's not the world wide web for nothing. Also those "bandwidth hogging pirates" tend to be their highest paying customers. Not like Cindy browsing Facebook is going to splash out for their high tier network. That's why ISPs tend to be somewhat protective, or at least fight back against laws that'd have them turn in their most profitable customers.
  8. If people see something that interests them and click the adverts, or at the very least disable Adblock on this page, it'd be nice. No to just clicking repeatedly.
  9. I didn't think we ever had you
  10. Hmmm, I can only suggest get a better bank. It's all set to come into the account as USD (cos it avoids conversion charges, especially as I pay in USD anyway) As for timing, as I just put up there the first outgoing isn't until end of May so a food month and a half, don't go putting yourself out.
  11. Well if you can hit the same amount folks did with Six's donation that'd be pretty damn great. Hosting comes out first, end of May. Then Forum stuff in June, then domain (smallest sum) in July. I'm sure if we don't' cover all the costs I can shave a few corners. Like IP.chat
  12. So renewal for domains/hosting/forum/chat etc is coming up soon. Basically I can't cover it all what with my extended period of unemployment, so hopefully in the kindness of your hearts and the backs of your sofa you can find some spare change 2015 Donations For 2015 you can now vote on your top/favourite Elder Scrolls game. 13. 1. Where you pulling this $5-10million figure from? It's a game with pretty much all assets made and engine is...well it's unreal so that's all pre-made too. 2. Bioware is composed of at least 6 studios, with a Montreal studio specifically for doing bits on the side so it's hardly like they don't have the spare man-power. 3. They sold 3.5 million copies within the first week, they're not exactly wanting for cash nor the fanbase to buy it. 4. Customer loyalty goes a long way to becoming a working currency, the line of thinking of going after hard cash and purely hard cash is the line of thinking that leads to this kind of shit in the first place. It's actually a somewhat disappointing line of thinking actually :/ I guess let's see how much the conversion rate on love to hard cash is these days.
  14. http://power-grid.roccat.org/ - Looks kidna neat. Shame Android version is some way out.
  15. That'd be it. Bit of media spotlight, re-writing of wikipedia, n everything carries on as normal. There's still bigger towns and a few smaller cities.
  16. Basically the Queen goes "This town is now a city" and poof it becomes a city. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Bzh1d8qFpuY#t=396s
  17. Boooo. Boo to the Queen. Really? St Asaph? A town city with 3,400 people in it? Also Perth already was a city, if it cocked up something as simple as "be a city" why give it a second chance? And finally..Chelmsford in Essex. Essex. Nuf said. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-17364651

    Learning Coding

So gonna be learning Python. I've been convinced it's a good simple start n gets me in the mindset for coding. Also I have a code learning buddy and he's up for Python so that's what we're doing.

  20. There's only one Doctor Who movie (that's not the weird knock off one) and that's from 1996 (When they last had a crack at reviving Who). It's of the 8th Doctor. I'd say it can be skipped. As for Torchwood, due to it running alongside Doctor Who it does kinda mesh in with Doctor Who. Captain Jack, who you're about to meet, leads Torchwood and comes back to Doctor Who a few times. I'd say go along lines of: DW S01, DW S02, TW S01, DW S03, TW S02, DW S04 (then from here you can watch S03 n S04 of Torchwood at any point as it moves on to Moffat's Who and he doesn't have Jack come back again) DW S04.5(the specials, Planet of the Dead/Water of Mars/End of Time.) The final episode of TW S01 then leads right onto the 3rd from last (it's a three part finale) episode of series 3 Doctor Who, so you could maybe watch both series at the same time. Also if you got past "World War Three" with the Slitheen (farting aliens) then you've got past the worst of the goofiness and now you pretty much just have cheese. Daleks are considered scary cos this is a kids show. A 50 year running kids show. Many of the kids that watched it n got scared of the Daleks then grew up and became columnists n would write about how the Daleks are shit scary. One of them grew up and thought "you know what's really scary? Statues and gas masks and shadows!" And he was allowed to write for the show. (If at the start of the show it says "By Steven Moffat" you're in for a good episode. He's also the current lead writer of the show and he's planted a lot of stuff very early on.)
  21. Not unless you redeem his steam code to your account. I wan to play on PS3 anyway just cos it makes it a bit simpler to join together, n I can use my headset. Also kicks my arse into action to get my games n gear back off sister.
  22. btw said endings are referred to as: Red, Green n Blue within the files (And if you grab http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm you can watch them all yourself and see that not much changes beyond the colours. It's a handy program to have for other things too.) By my count there's 7 endings. 6 in the good/bad of the three colours, then with the additional ending if your Shepard is alive.
