I am hype. I should probs rewatch the 2nd one (no idea on the name of it cos tbh their naming scheme so far been a bit crap). Watched the first a chunk though, surprise hit considering "remake of planet of the apes but it's set before all that and also has James Franco in it" wasn't the greatest pitch.

Seems like they're maybe showing this off a bit too early but interesting that it's so long since SotC to be getting these kind of "enemies as levels" type games.

e.g I saw something about him blocking a Veterans group on Twitter earlier today which yeah continues with the "hey isn't that the president blocking discussion of citizens with the government".

Looks pretty slick, seems to be disappointment on the QTEs. I'm personally more disappointed in the villains they've shown off (but I guess save some of the big guns for later?). I only really know of Mr Negative as the guy who was kind of a catalyst in making Anti-Venom Also seems to tease Miles Morales.

A thread for all things Monster Hunter, but since it's most recent here's Monster Hunter World: Should also be coming to PC too. Looks kinda pretty but it seems a lot of discourse around MH is kind of mixed with regards to how they play. I wonder if it being "World" means some kind of MP/MMO aspect to it, or just in regards to expanded scope. Also I believe this is first Monster Hunter on PlayStation in a fair while (and first on a PS console?)

This is a prequel by a different studio (original studio working on "Vampyr"). Also the original is in PS+ this month (so I'll likely have a bit of a play with that I guess).

On one hand it's cool they're still doing a bunch of post-launch support but the other hand they also announced the Prompto VR which didn't happen so not really sure this'll come to pass.

Theres a "days of play" sale on the PS store atm, which also includes PS+ being on sale for the annual subscription (normally £40, now £30). Handily mine is about to expire so I think I'll take advantage of that. (Seems to be across most places, also down to £30 at GAME and Argos. I imagine others too). No idea if this is the same in the US, but I imagine so.
