It's also entirely possible it's on their end (and not to be paranoid but it's much easier for them to delete texts than for you to randomly inject texts into your app). Also imo: If they're expecting you to use a phone for work...then you shouldn't be in the position of worrying about what your phone may or may not be doing, the onus should be on them supplying you with a phone or using something a tad more professional like email.

Caveat: I've no experience working with 4K n up footage I'm pretty sure what you're meant to do when editing high-res footage anyway is encode it to a smaller size (in this case likely 1080p), edit it that way, then put the 8K footage in its place and render that out. That way previewing and scrubbing is much faster, and you can export an initial draft of the finished thing easier. That was part of my job on the short film, converting the 2K footage down to 1080p to be played back on an iPad for the director and producer.

Iron Man was b-tier (also that article is a great lens into the super-hero world that was, with talks of excitement for Rise of Silver Surfer, chat of Edgar Wrights Ant-man and some hopes around Ghostrider). Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and X-men were their heavy hitters, that's why those got licensed out decades ago and Marvel had Iron Man and Thor to work with.

Cool they're giving a bit of lip service to the Lanterns, but tbh I'm feeling that it's still seeming kind of shakey. Steppenwolf looks kinda cool. I dunno, I'm struggling to raise my hype up. In other DC movie news the Flash solo outing will be Flashpoint....which resets the universe sooo errr they maybe planning on using that as an excuse to tweak everything so far?

They're pretty great, the speed up stuff has been great for some light grinding. And the Sandsea made a total breeze. Just unlocked the secondary license board, kinda feeling I've probably not set up my dudes as "efficiently" as I could, but there seems to be a fair bit of overlap in skills between boards without like ending up just screwing over everyone. Looks so dang pretty. Though not a fan of the art style chosen for the trophies.

Yeah what I've seen of Nioh it's "souls-like", but Dragons Dogma not at all.

The "from the director of" sequence really doesn't instil hope, but it's certainly different. Shadowrun: The Film I guess.

Given their tinkerer was able to get his flying thing up and running pretty early on I suspect he wasn't wholly/solely a salvaging guy. I'd guess they were already in the business of reselling on the more valuable salvage so would have the channels to start shifting more lucrative things than ex-office stock. As for being under the radar; they were only taking like a duffel bag at a time, I doubt it was all itemised so Damage Control wouldn't have picked up on stuff and most part it was "low level" crime so yeah wouldn't have taken the interest of The Avengers. Keep in mind that part of this it's post-Winter Soldier so no/minimal Shield and also if we assume the Netflix n AoS stuff is MCU canon then there's plenty other low-level supers kicking about that we can guess it doesn't raise any major flags of "this crime looks a bit weird, I should report this to much higher up". As for Spider-sense; I'm a bit bummed that it didn't seem to be one of his powers since it kinda rules out Mysterio who I'd like to see as a villain pop up (since he's not much of a "moohahah, end the world" but is a particular pain to Spider-man in fucking with spidey-sense). However description of the Infinity War trailer implies it does show off his spidey-sense, so who knows. Maybe it's one of those "as he grows so does his powers" kind of dealy-os. Incidentally it's comic-con atm so we might get to see that Infinity War trailer in the wild soon.

War for the Planet of the Apes Or I guess War for the Planet of the Apes as it's stylised for the opening (which was a nice Star Wars style refresher and acknowledges the confusing titling of prior films as "Dawn" and "Rise" which are essentially the same thing. Very good film, and I'm with Goh in being how surprised how solid these films have been. An enjoyable trilogy I'll happily be pulling out to watch for years to come. And yeah I quite liked the sort of mash up of genres in it. And technologically yeah it's pretty dang amazing, here's looking forward to how rubbish it'll look in 10 years time but I feel that might not end up being the case (I'd say only quirks were a few wide shots on the horseback that looked a bit oddly animated; I'd guess not mocapped). Interview with Serkis a few weeks back he spoke of how much he n Harrelson got on and already planning a future project together which is always cool to see.

I played it a bit since it was a PS+ game. I don't wholly gel with the OG soulsborne games but this just bounced right off me, but hey I'll try anything once. Seems Surge is the new attempt at a "souls-like", which I think is getting a demo soon.

Finally got to watch it today. Pretty great start, though I'm gonna probably have to read up to refresh my mind on Hounds past with that hut. (unless anyone here wants to fill me in). It did well to set up all the major players and it was structured well in flowing from one to the other in nice neat little compact stories. I actually hadn't expected much of Sam so was nice to see him have a decent segment (minus the poo and soup montage). Kinda liking the open animosity and "I know what you are, what am I" kind of kinship between Cersei and ...Ewan...err Greyjoy guy. I'll pick up his name once he's in more than two episodes. And yeah excited to see where Jon and Sansas relationship goes. I doubt it'll lead to blows and blood is thicker n all that, but will be interesting to see where Littlefingers meddling gets him. He's more skilled in the court politics and he's currently amongst soldiers and wildlings which may (hopefully) end badly for him. As for Ed Sheeran, no beef with him particularly, he didn't do anything wrong. He was just Ed Sheeran and that was bad, just kinda pulled you out a bit like there had been some weird dimensional overlap. I guess part of me was also "Jim Broadbent!" but then you slip back into "a magister!". GoT hasn't really gone much for the stunt casting/cameos and when it has it's done it well (e.g Ian McShanes little episode). Was that section at all elevated with having Ed Sheeran there for a bit of signing and then just smiling and nodding along? Not at all. He could have easily not been there and it would have been much the same scene, maybe the little ditty would be sung off key but they're soldiers after all.

So I've picked up Jotun & Shadow Warrior for free, as well as Legacy of Kain and others in the Crystal Dynamics 25th bundle thing, and the Doctor Who P&P RPG from HiB.

I'll be honest I've never seen The Room, but cultural osmosis n all that My sis is pretty hyped. And new Guilmero Del Toro film Abe Sapien? (same actor too) Seemingly based on 5th book of a series so no idea how that'll work out. Fassbender though, which always helps. This is probably not gonna be too great but looks kinda cool
