  1. Just a minor heads up for Firefox users. There's an SSL exploit called BEAST going around and to combat it Mozilla are mulling over disabling Java from running in Firefox at all. Which one major Java based application you guys use is Minecraft.
  2. I see some people are starting to get the issues us Alpha testers had with it. Maybe I can also get into a game for once. Oh and for folks amusement: (most likely a troll)
  3. What did I tell you before? The big hoopla is that the Kindle and Amazon brand have much more weight than the the Nook and the price could give a nudge to other tablets (the Touchpad should have already been a giant flashing light already) Amazon also have their own content network which other companies don't have(including the entire AWS n EC2 backbone to their bidding, which even Google doesn't have for Android). It'll still have access to Amazons App Store so it's not going to be totally gimped as far as tablets go(some of the cheaper tablets, including the Nook, only tend to have what they come with, or a limited market). It's no lightweight in hardware either, it's 8GB internal and zero expansion slots it's about it's only hiccup. It's not an ereader, but it is piggybacking off the pretty strong Kindle brand (Kindle accounts for almost as many eReaders as the iPad counts for tablets). If you're wanting a tablet, then this is 40% the price of the iPad. For many people it's a no brainer. (Oh and I wouldn't be surprised if it's selling at a loss too, with a 30% cut on apps sold in the Amazon App Store as well as ebook sales they're in a position many other tablet makers aren't)
  4. It will make you fat though. And will net you better weapons.
  5. Saints Row 2. Oh and here's my guy (I tried to tweet ages ago but it wouldn't take)
  6. When you've finished you can output a youtube video of it in realtime. Steaming would be a bit of a pain since it's turn based and can take days to complete matches.
  7. I guess I'd be up. Not been on in a while, but isn't it still fragmented on the servers?

  9. So a question: Why do foreigners who have a couple weeks off to go abroad and choose England as their destination...come to London? "I have time off, lets spend it in a busy and expensive city and look at some buildings" Why not "I have time off, lets spend it in a leisurely and calming rolling hills of Yorkshire" I know for certain I'd never choose to go on holiday to New York. (When we went to US we went to Orlando n all the theme parks.) So yes, from an Englishmen to a bunch of foriegners: What's the holidaying appeal of London?
  10. http://pressxordie.com/live.html Keywork is playing n Streaming some BF3 at the moment.

You know Bulletstorm recently dropped in price, right? Might want to get on that.

Have you not seen the bottom already? I added Buletstorm back when the "added to" and "Completed" were on par.

  12. Hail to the king baby (and in case anyone needs a refresher, it didn't come out on N64. I think Starcraft was it for PC ports on the N64)
  13. http://pressxordie.com/2011/06/01/review-frozen-synapse/ Here's my review if anyone is unsure.
  14. Then why does Windows automatically use 24H? Or is this another of those "US is officially on metric/24h, but regular folks just don't use it" We don't really use it much either. Everything digital has it, but our mantelpiece clocks are still very much 12h.

    Steam

Any UK legal person able to verify this fact?

    Scrolls

    And it moves forward.
  17. Maybe. I guess legitimately would be the better fitting word.
  18. Now you mention it... Oh and the preview:
  19. One day I'm gonna have to have a shot with mods.
  20. Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Officially. Apparently it took my 30 hours. I did end up missing out on a few side-quests though.

    OnLive

As far as I'm aware it's just the PC versions with a couple of tweaks, I have a feeling those tweaks won't include local co-op unless the PC version included it. I'm not sure OnLive would even support it given that it'd require having two inputs.
  22. But WoW is a total anomaly though. I doubt even Titan would hit the same amount as success, and I'm sure Blizzard have said as much themselves. There's not really any quantifiable and simple way of duplicating WoWs success. The only way to beat WoW is be WoW.
  23. Not so much recently as the old days. Valve are fairly good.
