This caught my eye (the winner of "ones to watch") Personally I was surprised at the many nominations of Limbo, as well as the lack of a downloadable games category. As was mentioned in steam chat (apart from "hey this is much better than VGA's") it seemed like it was the indie game poster child of the event. Also they need a new narrator, he sounded bored out of his skull, completely disinterested in what was going off. As another suggested it sounded as if he was just reading off Wikipedia. Winner of the GAME award was no surprise since it's public vote n MW2 won last year.

This is more of a thing related to modding n stuff like that: When you have a word with someone or issue a warning or stuff like that, it's a peeve when they assume that someone in a similar situation wasn't given the exact same speaking to. It's happened dozens of times, sometimes the same people doing it multiple times. Or sometimes warning two people and them both assuming the other isn't getting the same warning.

If you've been mistranslating for a hundred years it makes it even worse, not right. Sure you guys are fine with taking the letter U out of english words, but mistranslating French ones isn't really a-okay in the same way

There's people out there stupid enough that folks will commit suicide over it. Which will be a shame. (though it does get rid of the stupid people, the shame is when it's parents) However on my own opinion, I think we're heading somewhere with 2012. I'm open to the idea some earth shattering event will happen. Especially with the amount of times "largest.hardest/coldest/hottest/biggest since records begin" has been increasing in occurrence the past couple of years. And just general shifts in political and economic thingies that I can't think of at 1am. There's riots in the middle east, the first world has no money, hardly anyone trusts their governments, there's nations getting close to getting nukes who maybe shouldn't. It's all a bit doomsday. There's definitely shifts happening (in more ways than way one) and I reckon it'll all come ot a head. What'll be interesting is if it ends good or bad. Oh and most of this btw is attributed to "I've got a feeling in my bones". So maybe nothing is going on and I might jsut have a really weird and very early osteoporosis.
